try to get a room to Diamond Head I have stayed on the 14th floor and every time I have opened the door I had a great view to Diamond Head which btw. is a must to walk to (in about 3-4 hours) from that Hotel door. It is nice to get a breakfast in the morning at the pool... more

Stayed October 15-23. Celebrated 25th wedding anniversary Elevators worked great. Swiped key card over terminal, punched in floor number and was shown which elevator (A-D) to get on. If you punch in a different floor, you will be denied access. Great security measure. Great hotel for the price. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, zoo, aquarium. Beach right across street!!... more

This hotel was in a good location, nice being towards the diamond head end of waikiki. Rooms were nice - breakfast was okay. No real issues with the elevators - once you know how they work, its not a big deal. Great deal overall! more

Went on a getaway with my mom. My mom and I often left our room by 8:30 in the morning and didn't return to the room until 8:30. That being said, this hotel was perfect for us. We used the hotel for sleeping and showering. We had two doubles and the room seemed to be big enough. The beds were... more

In mid-October we stayed for 3 nights at the Aston and had a wonderful time. It was my first time in Oahu and I was glad we started our trip to Hawaii on Waikiki before heading to Maui. First of all, we did not rent a car so all those hassles we did not have to deal with. Check- in... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. This was our first time in Oahu so we weren't really sure where to stay. Waikiki is the place to stay for sure, would I stay here again? Probably not but price wise, it is what you pay for. The biggest complaint is the $27 valet parking fee. Almost all hotels... more

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. It was certainly not a "honeymoon type" hotel room. The rooms are extremely small, which didn't totally effect our opinion on the hotel as we had many different activities planned. The bathrooms were outdated and were extremely small. We had an Ocean View room which was nice, but you must leave... more

We traveld for my birthday, and had a wonderful time. This hotel is right across the ocean, and close to shopping. It has a very small pool, but who needs a pool when the ocean is right there. We did not have any problems. It is a small hotel, but when you are out all day it is a good... more

We stayed at this hotel for the first few nights of our honeymoon and found that it was a really nice fit for us. The location and value of this hotel were very good, and the free breakfast (and free cooler) helped a lot. The decor is a bit "kitschy," but we felt that was part of its charm. The... more
