Adequate room - clean and well maintained. Takeaway breakfast a great idea, although shuts off quite early and makes the lifts crowded for the full breakfast period. Good service. Great location directly across from the beach, and at the quieter end of the street. more

The rooms were clean. Our room faced Diamondhead and another hotel, which was rowdy and had stuff hanging off the balconies. The elevators at this place are the worst I've ever seen. It is a key-card operation and the cards almost never worked. Everyone was frustrated, plus one was out of order so the wait times were excessive getting to... more

The star rating for this hotel varies by different sites. TripAdvisor has it at three stars, Expedia - 3 1/2, I think I've seen 4 somewhere. IMHO, 3 is about right. It is not a luxury hotel and the rooms are very small and so are the lanais. We were traveling with a baby, so we spent evenings out on... more

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. I was expecting something nice because our travel agent recommended it and it was just an average hotel. Our room was very small! We were on the 24th floor (out of 25 floors) so we were almost on the top. Our front door was located outside and we had a balcony with... more

This was our first stop on our Hawaiian honeymoon. The hotel knew this so when arrived they congratulated us and told us that they had a very nice room for us. Well, that definitely turned out to be an opinion rather than a fact. My biggest complaint was with the bathroom. It was extremely small and dated, very 80s. This... more

I didn't find this place spectacular. The location was nice since it was right across from the beach. more

Rooms were smaller than expected, we had 2 double beds and with 2 kids and it was cramped. We took this because we had reservations at Marriott Ko Olina 2 days later (Which was AWESOME!). The pool did not look good at all 9 (tiny). The breakfest (NOT included in the price) was ok for 2 days but I would... more

This was the second time I have stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, and while the first visit (December 2002) was excellent, this was even better. My wife and I stayed here for just three nights during our trip to Kaua'i, O'ahu and Maui, and we wished we could've taken this hotel along with us to each island. The... more

The room was smaller than I expected. Though the decor was nice and sim;ple, like the pictures. We had a room that you could see the beach from the balcony. The breakfast they provide was good the first 2 days by the 3rd day I could not eat the same food again. since the tiki bar is so close to... more
