This is a great hotel. Yes - it needs a little updating - but look around people - so does half of Waikiki!! Great location, front desk staff gave us beach chairs (just have to ask), fair-size room, excellent view, gorgeous roof-top pool! My wife and I stayed at the Pacific Monarch from 4/15/09 thru 4/20/09. This Condo-Hotel was definitely under-rated for a 3 star establishment. We arrived on 9 April for a 7 night stay with our 17 month old toddler and were greated with the friendliest service ever!
