We stayed in this hotel as we saw the location to be good as it was in the middle of everything is oahu. The staff were really friendly and our stay there was marvelous. Don't expect something fancy for the rates that they are offering, but the rooms are clean and spacious! The bed was comfy and room was cleaned... more

Stayed eight nights in early June 2009. Our room had a kitchen, Q/bed, Q/sofa sleeper, and separate bedroom with Q/bed. Room very clean and staff friendly. Hotel only 10 min walk to beach and centrally located in Waikiki. Half a block to the International Marketplace (visible from balcony). We were on a tight budget so this was a good place... more

Aloha crashdummy1022, Mahalo for taking the time to post a review. I’m happy that you found our rooms clean and a great value, and our staff friendly. As in any urban environment, noise can be an issue. The excitement and nightlife of Waikiki is steps away from our hotel, and sometimes, the volume of that excitement carries on. Most of...

We found the staff, in particular Mike, to very helpful. They provided us with the information we needed to travel around the island. For the price, the amenities of the hotel were well worth the cost. We came before and never had the service provided by the staff at Aqua Tides Hotel. The maid service was impeccable. The parking was... more

This was my third time staying at one of the Aqua Resorts. The previous two being the Island Colony and Coconut. At first I was a little apprehensive about the place because it was undergoing remodeling, but the rooms were fairly nice for the price. Also, the location is good because it's really close to Waikiki beach and the International... more

Upcoming arriving at the Agua Waikiki Tides (used to be called the Aston Honolulu Prince) I was thinking...ut oh. The parking was outside and only had about 14 spots. The guy at the desk was freaky looking and it felt as if one was checking into a motel 6. In my mind I was thinking, oh great, are you serious.... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week for business. There were renovations going on and I was woken up at 7:45 am on a number of occasions by workmen drilling and hammering. I complained and got a few nights for free but the manager said he could not guarantee that I would not be woken up again. The renovated... more

Okay -- no one even mentioned in their reviews that this place does not even make up the beds unless REQUESTED! Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. But we had an inside room and we couldn't even open the curtains unless we wanted everyone who walked by to see into our room. And the elevators --- they just... more

We stayed here for a conference at the convention centre, and I can honestly say that if I'd been paying for it myself I'd have changed hotels. Plus points were the newly renovated rooms - they were fine, nicely decorated, had air conditioning and the location right in Waikiki was excellent (20 mins walk to convention centre but that was... more
