Unlike many Waikiki Resort Hotels, the Waikiki Banyan is not overwhelming in its size. The rooms are spacious and the 6th floor pool and recreation area is wonderful for families. We had a lovely view from our 33rd floor unit. The walk to the beach, zoo, aquarium, shops, restaurants is quick and easy not matter your destination. There is a... More

Our 1 bedroom with kitchen was on the 15th floor, facing the beach. Loved our lanai, and the facilities and location are hard to beat. Convenient to everything. Quiet and comfortable, and good service. Traveled as a couple, but this hotel would be great for families.

We spent two weeks at the Aston Banyon and really enjoyed our stay in room 1210. Very spacious with a large living room/kitchen and a separate bedroom. Partial ocean view from the balcony was a bonus. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Bedroom had two double beds. We also had a crib, single cot and double sofa pullout. Kitchen well stocked... More

I have read a lot of reviews and it always came back to it being old and needing to be remodeled. It does but it's not as bad as a lot of people have put it. If you have a family this is the place to stay! The kitchen is great! Has every thing you need to cook! This place... More

We stayed in a condo on the 10th floor. It was very clean and had everything that the traveler needs when on vacation. The owner was great, he meets you on arrival and shows you everything in the unit. The Banyan is central to everything the Waikiki has to offer and the amenities on the 6th floor are very good.

We found the Location and grounds to be fantastic. However service and staff were not good. We had to ask 2x for the pillows and sheets sleeper bed. Parking $20 night. Their lot was full so we were directed to their overflow lot @10 min away walk. This morning we were called 3x and had door knock by housekeeping at... More

My husband and I stayed at the Banyan 30+ years ago. The lobby is quite impressive, however when we walked into the room it was just as it was in '82..what a disappointment. No updating at all. The couch/futon was very uncomfortable. The girls from housekeeping were very good but they just didn't seem to have the staff. Our room... More

No backing on the curtains which meant lots of light came through at night which meant it was difficult to sleep. single glazing only so lots of noise & heat came though. Air con unit very LOUD. We asked for a king bed, instead we got two single beds pushed together, which weren't even at the same height. Gen. clean... More
