Overall this was a great hotel and location for me. The hotel is in transition so there it nothingto do at the hotel itself. Read reviews that said it was hard to find ,not true just look for the LLikai hotel and go to second floor fo teh reception desk. Staff were great and room was great and clean. I... more

We really enjoyed our stay here. We opted for the green promotion and it worked out well and saved us money. Towels and trash were changed every day and we were given as many towels as we wanted. Great view from the balcony- getting up every morning and seeing the ocean was just wonderful. Eating breakfast outside and sipping wine... more

We stayed here for a week and the room exceeded our expectations. It had a very nice efficiency kitchen which we did use since we had 2 grandchildren with us & tried to save some money on meals. The beach is close by and also a nice pool. Parking in the rear at the Marina also is a big money... more

We had a great stay - checked in early and they were able to get our two rooms together on the same floor ( 21 st ) - we even were able to check in early. The rooms were very spacious with the great full kitchen in every unit. We immediately checked out the pool area - nice - and... more

The hotel is walking distance to two grocery stores and a large mall. One of the grocery stores is only a block away. The price of the room was very reasonable for the quality and superior service, and it had an excellent view of the beach (be sure to ask for a room on that side if one is available). more

The Hotel is very well located, close to everything: the best shopping mall, the best commercial area on Waikiki beach, just across one of the best spots the lagoon, there is a Todai buffet just across the street or purchase kitchen small bites on ABC also across the street. Regards, Walter more

I made the wrong choice by selecting a room facing the city. I am not used to staying next to the main road and the road noise is affecting my sleep. The window is fixed with a single glaze and I doubt a double glazed window would help in cutting down the outside noise. If you plan to visit Hawaii,... more

Although my room rate was among the lowest I have ever paid, the setting was among the best I've ever had. All in all, this was the best bargain I have experienced in 40 years of travel. We were used to having no daily maid service because we usually stay in a condo so the clean towels and garbage removal... more

Have just finished 4 nights @ the WMR, on the recommendation of friends I was traveling with. As others have noted, the WMR is actually 1 tower of the Ilikai Hotel which has a troubled recent history including foreclosure. The property itself is clearly going thru a rough patch-as far as I could tell, the only functioning restaurant left on... more

Everything is as pictured on the Shell Hospitality website. We were on the 16th floor on the street side. Didn't hear any noise from the other rooms and very little street noise. So much to do - didn't spend much time in the room. Was nice to come back to a ice cold beverage after a day out on the... more
