After reading the limited reviews we questioned whether staying here was going to be a mistake.... So we emailed the General Manager Roy Yamane after booking but prior to arrival with our questions & concerns based on posted reviews. Roy promptly exchanged emails with us and felt confident in his teams abilities to meet the needs of his guest. We... More

I booked this because they take pets and we were arriving on New Year's Eve. Nothing else was available. We were moving from the mainland back to Hawaii and had four large bags, four carry-ons and a large dog kennel. The only rooms left were on the second floor and THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! This is a military facility and... More

As an historic building we are limited on what alterations we... More

I PCS'ed to Tripler in June and made a 2 month reservation in February. In the middle of May, the hotel contacted me and told me that they would not be honoring my full reservation as they were full....So they took it upon themselves to book me at another hotel without consulting me. When I arrived, I asked 3 different... More

I wish I had been fortunate enough to had seen a room or building before booking. I can honestly say this is the worst and nastiest place I have stayed in my entire life. They have a horrible roach infestation. So much so that I left the lights on during the night to help keep the little things away. I... More

We chose this hotel because it was the closest hotel to Schofield Barracks that allow pets. The facility used to be military school and feature two rooms suite configuration with adjoining bathroom in the middle. So it is a good set up for family allowing parents to stay in one room and kids in the other. It has nice view... More

Stayed at the IHG Army Hotel at Tripler Army Medical Center during a TDY. All they did is slap the IHG brand on the old VOQ/VEQ. This is my 4th IHG Army Hotel I've stayed in, and it was the worst. While the rooms are big, it is the old "two rooms that share a bathroom" design. They don't divide... More

Stayed here a couple of nights during recent vacation. Pros: Nice rooms, adjustable AC unit, and free breakfast in the morning. Views of Oahu from top of hill where lodging building is located are amazing. Hotel is pet friendly-saw families with dogs and cats there. Cons: No kitchen. Price is expensive compared to other military lodging on Oahu-nightly rates are... More
