we had booked in for 5 nights but were so glad we had only paid for 3. no ceiling fans, just one on the floor, so if you were unlucky, like myself to score the top bunk it was hot bloody hot, so lucky it was still autumn. Kitchen, common area and laundry were all in one and it was... More

This was perfect location, only 1 min walk from the beach where we swam every single day and saw many incredible sunsets! Good helpful staff, they always try to make sure you're happy and the common room was social and cosy. There was a cut off at 10 for noise and kitchen as standard which meant good night's sleep! Can... More

POSITIVES: - location! To beach 30 seconds, buses 30 seconds, to beginning of the strip with shops 30 seconds.... - cleaniness in the rooms - people and staff, especially Jesse - very nice atmosphere, colorful environment, hammocks, common area - snorcheling gear for free - parking behind a gate for free - 24 hour reception - hostel activities (everyday tours)... I stayed in the female 4 bed dorm for a week in November and had the most amazing stay! My room was very spacious and had plenty of room for storage. The bathroom was good, although our shower was pretty terrible (bad water pressure). The ONLY downfall of this hostel is the fact that the wifi doesn't work in most... More

I enjoyed my stay here. I think its a great location, walking distance to diamond head, the zoo and the beach. And its cheaper than most of the other places. Friendly staff and great free pancakes for breakfast!

I had the pleasure of staying in this hostel for one month. Great budget accommodation in excellent location. Only one block from the beach. Close to shops and restaurants. You can walk to Diamond Head easily in under one hour. Well run hostel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They run great tours from the hostel with their own bus. The... More

The hostel is very close to the beach and to a lot of bars. Actually we met awesome people and had a great time but bathrooms are really dirty and also the beds are not comfortable and full of sand. The staff is not really friendly or helpful - anyway after 5 weeks of traveling we saw a lot and... More

Very good location, walking distance from Waikiki beach and several bus stops. (About half an hour away from the UH Manoa campus and KCC at Diamond Head for your prospective students.) Right on the same street is another hostel and a place you can rent a scooter or moped to tour the island. Also near at hand: a convenience store... More

If you're in Hawaii and want to stay in a bedroom all day then you're crazy. We stayed in a semi-private room, a little warm, but it's Hawaii. The bed was comfortable, the shower was brilliant - especially for blasting jet lag and sand off. The hostel is in a great location, so close to the beach! The free pancakes... More

So obviously youre looking for an affordable place to stay near enough to all the tourist stuff. This place is great! Right by the water, extremely affordable and has all the basic things you need (communal kitchen area, free wifi that works, hangout space, lockers, bed and showers) I stayed for a week and had no problems what so ever,...
