This hostel is in a great location. It's gated and I felt safe walking around the area. A quick walk down the street and a will put you right by Dukes. The lockers were big and had a shelf. Great for keeping organized. It can get a little noisy in the middle of the night when the garbage trucks get... More

Rooms are basic but nice, no air con but the fans make it bearable, good shared areas and helpful staff. Cheapest place on the island, the wifi in the rooms wasn't too good but in communal areas worked fine

Loved every minute of my stay here! The rooms were nothing special, but they were comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. Great open area in the middle for hanging out and relaxing. And best of all, less than 5 minutes walk to Waikiki Beach! Would definitely return!

Stayed here 10 days and it was awesome. Safe, gated hostel, super clean rooms constantly being cleaned and the bathrooms were close to ones you'd find in a regular home. I was really impressed. WiFi was touch and go in the rooms but strong signal in the courtyard and the kitchen. The staff is really friendly and the hostel has... More

The Good: The location is excellent, as is the price. Close to Waikiki Beach and the nearby bus makes all major tourist areas accessible. Some staff members are excellent: they love Hawaii, and seem to love helping you out (though beware, there are a few grumps). There are a few days with free waffle breakfasts and free dinners. BBQs also... More

We went with 3 friends in these hostel for 5 nights. We slept so so badly because of really poor mattress if we can call it mattress!and noise! Instead of a mattress i had a layer of cushion for sofa. I asked for another mattress but the person from the reception told me they didn t have another one to... More

Not overly clean in the showers but a safe place for travelers with a bit of sense. If you don't like bugs, don't go to the tropics. Really good about enjoying the patio as long as 11pm quiet is observed. Loved it!

My friend and I stayed at this hostel for a week and we loved it! The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and they provide towels and beach towels without extra cost (very useful when you're near the beach). The spacious courtyard is great for eating breakfast in the sun or meeting other hostel guests in the evenings. The very... More

You get what you pay for....as simple as that. First, the staff seems very friendly when you arrive but once you have paid they stop being friendly and honestly they are not very helpful. Second, the place is very noisy and although there is a time limit for people to stay in the common area, parties can keep going until... More

Stayed here for a week in September 2014. Location is great, right around the corner of Kuhio Av. About 10-minute walk from the beach, 5/10-minute walk from groceries etc. They offer free breakfast, but only toast and coffee/tea, which sucked because most hostels I've stayed at serve at least a continental breakfast which includes cereals, toast, fruit etc. They do...
