Just returned to NJ from 5 days on Waikiki. This is my...15th trip to HNL... This was my first time staying at the Hyatt, though, and I will be back. We (unfortunately) got an "elevator... more

I usually have a free Hyatt nite or two saved up for Hawaii. This is where I like to stay in Waikiki - sitting on my lanai watching the waves under starlight as I usually arrive after dark. I also appreciate how well sound-proofed the rooms are at the Hyatt Regency. Also - these are the largest rooms I have... more

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week at Hyatt. We arrived at the hotel pretty late due to our flight and there were only rooms next to the elevators left except for a handicap room. The gentlemen who helped us said it can be noisy next to the elevators so he booked us in the handicap room and made... more

I'd give it five stars but there were a few problems... here's the good and the bad: Good: (a) great service, fantastic staff (b) super Friday afternoon/evening welcoming event at the ground-level entrance area. We saw Polynesian drummers, fire twirlers, hula dancers... and they encourage guests to make leis or eat coconut, etc. (c) it's part of Priceline so you... more
