we upgraded to executive club access but found the ameneties, food and coffee were really not worth the extra cost. However, our room had a great view of the beach and ocean and was way above the other buildings. We werent in the DIamond tower but still happy with postion. No sun into the room at all which we would... More

This hotel is pretty nice, but it has some faults (is there any 'perfect' hotel?). My room was in the Diamond Head tower with a partial ocean view - which meant that I had to go out on the small balcony and lean over the railing to see the water!! But I had a great view of Diamond Head. Unfortunately,... More

I had requested an upgrade a few days prior to my arrival from a partial ocean view to an ocean view. Upon my arrival the front desk guy told me that there were no ocean rooms available. I then went to Hyatt.com and they showed that ocean rooms were available for my dates. I went back to the same guy... More

This hotel is perfectly fine on most respects. But you want to know the downsides. The real disappointment is the slow and patchy WIFI. It's part of a whopping $25 per night resort fee, so you really have to expect better connectivity. Included with your $25 fee you also get two bottles of water a day and some other stuff... More

This hotel is right in the middle of it all, with the beach across the road. Anyway Check in took a while as we had some confusion with rooms but we did recieve an upgrade (not a very good one as the room was too small for 4 people and it was right next to the lifts) didnt get much sleep... More

You know,it's kind of funny...places seem to come and go out of favor for me. I know some others like this as well. I'm really not sure sometimes why I start to drift from one "regular" place to another. Something just changes, sometimes tangible sometimes not. Maybe it's just because the destination is so busy it's difficult to stay at... More

The hotel is located directly across the street from Waikiki Beach. Since the hotel is currently undergoing major renovation, I requested a new room when I checked in. After the front desk clerk checked with the manager, I was given a new room that was being released that day, but it wouldn’t be ready until 6:00 PM so they gave... More

This was part of a holiday package for our honeymoon and it was a pleasant surprise given the good value of the package. It was a great location right across from Waikiki Beach and only metres from the shops and all the tours left from the back of the hotel which was handy. You could walk to most places and... More

This was my second stay at the Hyatt and the room this time round was even better - we were given a newly refurbished room and although having to wait for this room to be made available due to a conference in house we were more than happy to take off to the beach and spend the afternoon there ....
