Spent 3 nights here at the end of our 10days in Hawaii. Stayed on the 38th floor Ocean View Room and on the last night upgraded to the Regency Club for an extra $150 as it was the only room available in the hotel. Nice hotel, room is clean but you pretty much pay for the view which is stunning.... more

Me and my Husband spent our honeymoon in Hawaii at the Hyatt in late March. I was a bit disappointed when we told the front desk that we were on our honeymoon and they barely cared. Plus, to add insult to injury, they put us in a room right next to the elevators! You can hear it go up and... more

I have great luck with Hyatt Hotels and am Platinum on Gold Passport. From Zurich to San Antonio I have never had a bad experience until this hotel. The room was a Regency Ocean View and we could see Diamond Head but really had to work to see the ocean. The bedding on one of the beds was dirty and... more

We stayed here for a full week last week. The view is outstanding. The hotel is worn but the location was okay for our preferences. I'll agree with most of the posts about this hotel. Small but nice pool. Street noise is a bit louder than you would expect 30 floors up. Location is very good. However, there were 2... more

We booked the family vacation package which included daily breakfast, 1 free room night, discounts on dining and spa and other benefits. As we needed 2 rooms with 3 kids, this ended up being great value. Food within the hotel's various restaurants, pool bar etc were reasonably priced, good size and tasty. The location was very central and the hotel... more

This hotel has it all. Plenty of shops and restaurants within it. Modern styles, friendly staff and most of all they treat you like a customer instead of cattle. The pool is small, but a wonderful view of the beach and two hot tubs. Food and drink available with a staff to pamper you as you relax in the sun.... more

We just returned from 9 days in Hawaii, we spent the first four nights on Kauai so I was ready for the action and fabulous restaurants and shopping that define Waikiki. I was very impressed with the Hyatt Waikiki. We paid $179 a night, about half of what it cost us to stay 2 years ago, across the street at... more

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki. Our room was located on the 36th floor with a lanai and beautiful ocean views. We stayed in the Ewa tower so we did not have a view of Diamond Head. We could however, look down and see the pool, Waikiki beach and the surfers and hear the ding-ding... more

Great hotel room and ocean view. Great location across from the beach, near restaurants, shops and some nightlife. Nice hotel pool and spa's. Long walk from the main entrance to the check in desk. Two of four elevators were out of service one night and hallway carpet needed shampooing (beach sand). more
