I stayed here a few years ago and had a good experience. Which is why I decided to come back. We stayed here for 3 weeks. First few days was in a newly renovated room in Ewa tower the rest was in one of the older rooms in the Diamond Head tower. We moved because of ongoing renovation in the... More

A tale of two neighbors. Pros and cons of each. Lobby- Moana more intimate and nicely appointed though the furniture had nicks in it. Hyatt- huge somewhat confusing lobby with numerous shops almost like a small mall. Winner - Moana Rooms- Hyatt creams Moana. The rooms at Hyatt are huge. A young family with two kids could easily manage one... More

Very typical Hyatt ... Very good! But worth the cost of an oceanview room for the magnificent view. I did have a recently renovated room and it was excellent but don't stay in your room ... get out and enjoy Honolulu!!! Service and staff very friendly and helpful. I'd certainly go back again. Great location opposite Waikiki beach with free... More

I have stayed here many times with my family. I grew up in Honolulu and the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is now part of my family's vacation traditions. I have a prior review which focuses primarily on the people and how wonderful they are. All of that still holds. Some updates regarding rooms: 1. Biggest step up in the double rooms... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt. We have been here before and the rooms weren't updated like they are now. I think they are in the process of updated all the rooms. We lucked out and got an updated room with beautiful decor, furnishings and accessories. It was modern and up to date and we LOVED the bidet. Sounds... More

Aloha learningtoloverunnin, Thank you for staying with us again and for giving us your feedback on the remodel. We are pleased to read that you were so happy with the changes. We actually have many guests who say they plan to get the bidet for their own homes after staying with us. We are glad that you also enjoyed all... More

Very dated 80's style hotel - real disappointment as we were expecting five star luxury. On arrival stayed in an un-renovated room which really showed its age with tiny bathrooms, stained chairs, rust stains in bath, old carpet etc. Eventually moved to a renovated room - still very basic and bland with no style, clearly done on the cheap. Location... More

Aloha Hopefulholidays, We are sorry that you were disappointed in your recent visit to Waikiki. This is one of the most popular destinations in the world and highly regarded for the shopping, surfing, and convenience to other island attractions. We do regret this was not better relayed to you when you booked your reservation. It seems that our associates did... More

If you are asian and are looking for a relatively nice middleclass hotel and being surrounded by Asians, you might like it. If you are european or else, you might be overwhelmed by the mass of Asian people. I have never experienced something like this before. The hotel itself is located very central and next to the beach. This was... More

This hotel was beautiful. We stayed here for 10 days in October 2012 for our anniversary. We requested a beach view and got just that. It was beautiful waking up every morning seeing the ocean out our window. The hotel has everything you can imagine, shops, dinning and it is directly across the street from Waikiki Beach and within walking... More

Once again I stayed at the Hyatt for my annual Thanksgiving vacation, usually I give 5 stars but there were just a few hiccups, but overall my stay was a good one. Hyatt is going through renovating their guest rooms therefore I stayed in the Ewa towers vs. Diamond. The renovations include change in décor, color patterns, furniture, updated bathroom... More
