We only stayed 1 night in this hotel with my family prior to our departure from Hawaii. Coming from appartment style accommodation @ Aston Banyan, we had 1 room here for 2 adults and 2 kids. Definitely wouldn't be as good for longer family holiday due to space. hotel presents itself as upmarket. our kids received colouring book and crayons... More

We had ocean front in Diamond Head Tower. Great views and we loved being able to hear the surf every day. The rooms are large. Many complain they are outdated but a massive remodel is underway and we did not find anything wrong with our room. The extra space is great! WiFi service was good. The staff is outstanding. We... The best things about the Hyatt Regency are its location right opposite The Duke Statue and Waikiki beach and its generous room sizes. It also has everything you need from a hotel, with multiple restaurants, shops, pool and gym, nice breakfast buffet and the convenience of being on the tour bus pick/up route. Unfortunately the property itself is old and... More

This was my second time staying at this hotel after a few years. I was there for meetings and stayed in the Diamond Head tower. Access to Waikiki beach is only steps away from across the hotel and the view as you're waiting to check in or as you come down the escalators to ground level where the blue of... More

I stay here regularly for work. Hawaii is part of my district so I stay here as this is a preferred hotel for my parent company. It is pretty expensive if you aren't a frequent traveller. I've stayed in both towers and they are about the same. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. I usually get... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on the last night of our honeymoon. Our room was not ready as we got there early so they upgraded us to an ocean view for $50. The ocean view was definitely worth it since the hotel is directly across from the beach. The rooms were very clean, but very out... More

Visited this Hyatt on our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. It's located on a beautiful beach even though it's in middle of downtown. Fantastic customer service too. Wish we could spend more time at this location since everyone was so helpful.

Flip Flop Workshop is a retail shop located within the Hyatt Regency Arcade. Excellent activity if you are feeling creative and want to make yourself a unique pair of flip flops. I made four different pairs to take home as gifts for my niece and daughter in laws ... Oh and I made a pair for myself too! Great fun... More

we upgraded to executive club access but found the ameneties, food and coffee were really not worth the extra cost. However, our room had a great view of the beach and ocean and was way above the other buildings. We werent in the DIamond tower but still happy with postion. No sun into the room at all which we would... More

This hotel is pretty nice, but it has some faults (is there any 'perfect' hotel?). My room was in the Diamond Head tower with a partial ocean view - which meant that I had to go out on the small balcony and lean over the railing to see the water!! But I had a great view of Diamond Head. Unfortunately,... More
