I have stayed here on numerous trips with my family. The staff is extremely helpful and the accommodations are wonderful. We especially love the suites and the corner front hotel rooms. Everything is within walking distance, and the beach across the street is great for younger children.

We stayed here for 6 nights in January and enjoyed our time. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite and had incredible views from both balconies! The staff was very friendly and attentive even though it was the Pro Bowl weekend and the hotel was crazy busy. The pool area is ok, really nothing special, and there is no direct... More

Stayed here for 5 nights recently and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are typical Marriot rooms and they never disappoint. Best rooms are in the tower closest to the beach - they have the best view. Parking is easy but can get very crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I were absolutely impressed with this resort. We had an amazing view of the beach and Waikiki on a high floor, as well as provided great amenities during our stay. For the resort fee and elite status, we were given free breakfast every morning, as well as two drinks from the bar daily, and a respectable discount... More

Close to everything, walking distance but I prefer the quieter side of the island, personally. This hotel has excellent location BUT it does NOT have DIRECT BEACH ACCESS. You have to cross the street. Still, an amazing beach that's close walking distance and the sunsets there are amazing! Restaurants are everywhere close by.

We caught a red eye from Las Vegas not realising we got in at the crack of dawn in Honolulu. We were told our room wouldn't be ready until 3 but that they had a hospitality suite we could use to get changed. Then we were told of the resort fee with a thousand useless things like DVD hire and... More

This hotel is fabulous! It's a Marriott resort for goodness sakes! What more do you want or need? The staff is fantastic, the gym is off the shelf awesome, the food is impeccable.....especially the Japanese sushi and steak house! The breakfast buffet is just like all the others, great! For a treat, watch the cook work his magic at the... More

This was our first time visit to this property after visiting Oahu many times. The hotel is across from the Waikiki beach and next door to the Tiki Grill restaurant. We had a deluxe ocean view room with balcony. The front desk people were always very friendy, especially Jatin Dharia and Nicole who I specifically dealt with. The hotel has... More

I could not possibly recommend this hotel to anyone I like. The reception staff and 'customer care' staff are incompetent. Carefully check your credit card statements after you stay with Marriott. I found an additional $180 fee for a 'no show', despite the fact that we stayed there as per our reservation. The 'customer care' staff are either incompetent, uncaring... More

Just came back from a family vacation and stayed at this hotel for 6 days. It's been 10 years and there has definitely been a lot of changes to Waikiki. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and enjoyed the walkability of being in Waikiki. Our family stayed in the K tower, room 1231, with an oceanfront view. The rooms... More
