I recently spent a week in waikiki and stayed at one of the condos at the Ilikai (unit 2020). If you're looking for luxury, this is NOT the place for you. That being said ... it is one of the most affordable stays in Honolulu, and for the price, it's pretty impressive. LOCATION The location is AMAZING. It's located on... More

We stayed in room 1830 which was described as renovated...bathroom was still pretty average. A little annoying that only coffee was provided - not everyone that stays in Hawaii is from the USA and would have pretty much killed for a cup of tea in the morning!! Knew that if I called housekeeping tea could be sent up but had... More

The hotel grounds were fabulous. Everything was clean and inviting- from the beautiful waterfalls in the main entrance to the relaxing, open air, dining area and ‘patio’ seating that offers beautiful marina views. Every few nights (2x a week, I think?) there is a small traditional band and dance (Hula) show in the main patio and on Fridays you can... More

The Ilikai hotel/condo building could not be in a better location. We loved walking around the marina and easy stroll to the Ala Moana shopping center that has so many great shops and restaurants. We also walked over to the beautiful Hilton property next door every morning because the Ilikai coffee shop opened quite late. There's a pretty little outdoor... More

We thought we were getting a good condo. But to our surprise, we got a great condo! Our first morning, it was hard to get off the lanai's! The unit was on a lower floor, but this did not impede any pleasure we got throughout our entire stay! Furnishings, amenities, and features were comfortable and the location was ideal! We... More

We stayed at the Ilikai 30 years ago so decided to revisit this hotel. As we entered we felt we had gone back in time. I had forgotten how spacious and open the lobby areas were. It is very inviting. We were given one of the refurbished rooms. We were the first to use this room so there were some... More

I spent the past weekend in Waikiki, and stayed at one of the Ilikai Luxury suites on the 25th floor! I had an awesome experience! Located just at the edge of Waikiki, so quieter than most Waikiki properties. I had a beautiful suite, with the most amazing view of the Honolulu Harbor, Lagoon, and Ocean. Full kitchen, great King size... More

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the ilikai. Was travelling with 4 other girls and we all shared a studio condo. Even with 5 of us in one condo there was plenty of space and never felt cramped. The view of the marina below and ocean is beautiful from the large lanai. The pool staff are very nice... More

We stayed for three nights at the Ilikai at the end of our vacation on Oahu. Overall, I think it's a good value for the area. We booked via the hotel's website with a AAA discount--this is important because some people end up booking condos at the Ilikai, and have expressed disappointment with the condos. Our hotel room on the... More

This hotel was about the same or lower in price as many other Waikiki hotels; however, here we had 650 sf and a kitchen. Lobby is beautiful but not overly large. Suite (ours was not yet refurbished) was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen needed updating but was still very acceptable. Great bed, large lanai. Mountain view is actually... More
