We decided to vacation in Hawaii for 9 days. We booked through Priceline, we had no idea what we were getting. It was a 1 room condo. It had a full kitchen which worked for us because we are a family of 5. The room itself does need some updating but for the price and for what we needed it... More

Be careful of the pictures posted on trip advisor. You will probably not get a unit that you are looking at Check in Don't expect a bell boy (or any help for that manner) you are completely on you're own. Take you're own bags to the reception. Reception Very slow check in. We were there at least 20 minutes in... More

This condo was fantastic ,with separate lounge ,large kitchen . We were very pleased with it and was very good value.the only problem the hot tub was closed for our entire stay which was disappointing I found this condo on trip advisor and read the reviews before deciding .You do get a lot of street noise but I think you... My kids and I love vacationing at the Waikiki Banyan every year or two. the units are perfect for a family. There are two rooms, a living room with kitchen and the bedroom with multiple beds. The units we have rented. have free parking and Wi-Fi and are a great value for the price. We enjoy walking to the beach,... More

We stayed 5 nights at the Waikiki Banyan room 2512 which was on the 25th floor in Tower 2.We booked the condo on VRBO.com # 138098.The Banyan is a little tired like a lot of properties in Waikiki but is totally fine for a couple or family wanting to stay at a complex that has amenities such as tennis court... My family just got back from staying in unit 3411 in Tower one, which is owned privately. There were 5 adults in the unit, three of which were young 20s who wanted to enjoy the nightlife of Waikiki. The unit is great. It is very clean with an amazing view. The full kitchen was so wonderful. We prepared many meals... More

I have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan multiple times and adore each stay. The location is literally a block to the zoo, and 2 blocka to the beach. Waikiki has plenty of trffic noise most nights and so being away from it is a blessing. The Bus stops on one side of the hotel and The Trolly on the other... More

Well I had friends from New Zealand come down. So we called the hotel and asked if there were any rooms available and if we could get one on the same floor as them. Over all we were happy with our room, We loved that there was a full kitchen until, which we did put to use. Plus the location... More

We stayed here in 2013. The open foyer is impressive but the hotel itself could do with a revamp. On saying that we only needed it for sleeping as most days we were shopping or down at the beach. The air conditioning in our room made noise but didn't cool the room down. Light fittings were old and some bulbs... More

I think for the price, this is a good alternative. We went for an upgraded condo through a private rental and I think that was a good choice. In that price range, it is not comparable. However, having stayed at other hotels in Waikiki, it is not exactly the best place I have stayed in. If price is your number... More
