The Federal government doesn't offer enough for its service members but this is one spot that more than makes up for it. The Hale koa has some of the best food in town. It has a PX and all the emminities of a Hilton property. For the military or x-military, this should be your first option. It has to be... More

Nice place to stay if you are military or family of military. The landscape was awesome! best Mai Tai's ever! Stay at Turtle Bay and was equally as satisfied staying at the Koa. would definitely go back.

In this post I’m going to try to cover as much info as possible. Things that are great and things to avoid about Hale Koa, the transportation and other services we used and/or found to be useful or a waste of time. First off the Hale Koa resort. The resort has lovely grounds and beautiful views from most any room... More

Shame shame! So disappointed in the room. Reminds me if a super 8! Military should be ashamed not upgrading the rooms! The beds are old and so are the blankets. Everything is worned and needs serious updating.

This was my 2nd stay at this excellent hotel catering to military related singles and families. This time I was upgraded to a Ocean Front Room on the 10th floor and the view was the best I've ever had all through the day and into the night. The breakfast and dinner buffets met my needs perfectly. A stay here makes... More

This was our third visit to the Hale Koa. They have all been great. The rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing views. We had a partial ocean view. We could see Gus (as requested since I love that beautiful tree) and had a great view of the ocean. We have not had a bad meal at any of the... More

We just returned from a weeks stay at the Hale Koa and had a wonderful time. The location is right next to the Hawaiian Hilton Village, and within walking distance to restuarants and shopping in Waikiki. The grounds are quite spacious and well kept. We had an ocean view room with a king bed and the rate was extremely reasonable.... More

We are staying here for 10 days to visit our son who is stationed at Schofield. For the money this place is great. Staff all very nice. Yes the rooms are a little dated but they are clean and comfortable. Pools and beach are nice and clean. Breakfast buffet at Koko good value. We usually did lunch at Happys if... More
