This hotel is located right on Kalakaua Avenue, the heart of shopping in Waikiki. While others have complained that the lower floors are noisy (from street noise), we did not find this to be the case. We booked our flight and hotel from Orbitz and ended up on the 3rd floor of the hotel. We were given 2 adjacent rooms... More

We stayed at this hotel 4 days before our Hawaii cruise and three days after-first stay only 13 floors up, so requested higher floors next time-so we were 23 floors next time-awsome views- ocean, diamond head, hotels as well as Kalakaua traffic-so relaxing on our balcony. Also used the workout room early morning, accomodations were great as was the staff. Would... More

This is my third time in Hawaii - first time staying at the Holiday Inn ... I'd come back for the sheer location and convenience. We were Travelling w young children and they were able to accommodate w interconnecting rooms which we requested prior. With budget in mind - there are more stylish places to stay w bigger rooms and... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in January and were very pleased with our choice. The location is ideal, we could see the ocean from the balcony and on the 8th floor, we had no problems with noise from below. The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable, quite spacious and the bed was heaven to sleep in. I really... More

we stayed in a twin double on the 19 floor, for 8 nights. The rooms big and clean, not so the bathroom - it's tiny with only a loo and shower, the wash basin is outside the bathroom. We had no trouble with noise got a good night sleep each night. The location is right in the middle of Waikiki.... More

The hotel is centrally located on Kalakaua Ave, which is where most of the action is. The International market is about 3 minutes away and a few ABC stores are located nearby. To walk to the public area of the beach it is about 5 to 8 minutes away. During the day I found the area to be too tourist... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel while traveling to attend the 2012 Pro Bowl for a one night stay. The staff was typical for the area which was superb. The location is the key to this property. Although we received an upgrade, the room is highly minimal. The room was very clean which of utmost importance to us.... More

Basic, decent hotel in the middle of everything. We expected hubbub in Waikiki so the lively din from the lanai didn't bother us. Close the door and you can't hear it. We had a peekaboo view of the ocean from the 7th floor. We would have liked a larger (and warmer!) pool. Fine choice for the rate we paid. More

Stayed here mid January with my girlfriend. I used Priority Club points so it only cost me $20/night. Overall we were pleased with this hotel. We had spent several nights at the Ilikai before switching to the Beachcomber (which proved to be the better hotel). As a platinum member we were placed on 24th floor with a great view of... More
