I knew exactly where this hotel was because I had stayed across the street on a previous visit. Staff was great. Pool area nice to relax. Walking distance to shops, beach, Hard Rock Cafe and near to hotel that picks you up for luas and other tours. My only complaint was the bug problem that I had (which they tended... More

We were arriving late and needed a room for one night and weren't looking to spend a lot. All we could get is a room with three singles to start our honeymoon. At least everything worked and we had a good sleep. The room was dingy though and had tone all a long way on an outside spooky corridor. For... More

My only criteria for a hotel were that I could easily access other places, I had a place to sleep, and that it was clean and the Ambassador Hotel met all of these criteria. It was just a short walk to the beach and there were several restaurants around the area so after a long day out on the island... More

The hôtel is Old, inside and outside, noises from the street are loud during night and day. This hotel is Fois For a short stay. It has a good free wi-fi in the hall, is near downtown and bus stops, has got a guest laundry (wash and dry), the staff is kind.

First time in Hawaii and this was the perfect hotel for what myself and the girlfriend needed. Stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and we do plan to stay there again when we go back. Just down the street, maybe half a mile from Waikiki beach and all the shopping. Within a very short walk of several bus stops... More

We found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big but we were told that we were being upgraded so maybe the standard room would have been a lot smaller. It was, however, quite tired and old with a barely warm shower. We stayed in another hotel as well and we came to the conclusion that it... More

We are currently staying at the Ambassador hotel and celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. This is our 4th time visiting Hawaii but not really happy with our accommodation here at the Ambassador hotel. We were expecting a courtesy upgrade since we are staying for 21 days (we always get a free courtesy upgrade from other budget hotels but they are... More

What can I say arrived on 4/16/13 stayed in room 1809 18th floor for a 4 day stay. Hotel staff was very friendly upon late night arrival with 12yr old. Front staff recommended streak house across street Inaddition to other food spots within walking distance. Settled on Buffalo Wild Wings ok. My husband and I stayed at the Ambassador on April 13, 2013. We had been in a time share condo for a week. We had to be out of there by 10 am on Sat. and our flight didn't leave until Sunday. So we had booked a one night stay at the Ambassador because of the price. I called the... More

The room comes with a small fridge, a kettle for boiling water, a couple of bowls, glasses, spoons and forks. Air conditioner is window type and quite noisy, which you probably will not need it. Self parking 20$ is on the property. Close to Waikiki beach. Nothing fancy just basic. If you tight on budget, this is the hotel to... More
