The Kahala is all about what a holiday should be. It was true luxury and pure relaxation. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was one of the best beds I've ever slept on. The resort is a little out of town but that's what makes it special, it's secluded and is... more

Being first-timers to Hawaii for our 15th Anniversary, we used TravelWizard.com to help us plan our trip. We started out with four nights at the Kahala Resort and we loved the room. We were on the end of the Dolphin Lagoon in a king lanai room and the room was huge and the bathroom was big. Although we couldn't see... more

We stayed here for the 2nd leg of our honeymoon. It absolutely blew us away. It really is stunning and the staff will make you feel like you are royalty. The staff here give a much more personal service than at our first destination (wynn, las vegas). It is nice to be greated with a flower lei and a cold... more

Our stay at the Kahala Hotel was simply amazing. We were there for 8 days and 7 nights. There was nothing less than EXCELLENT service every day of our stay there. The room was large and luxurious. The roomy lanai was the perfect size for putting up your feet and indulging in the gorgeous view. The beach was pretty private... more

I have eaten many times at the Kahala restaurants, as my friends in Hawaii would say it's the best hotel on the island... but, this was the first time we actually stayed overnight there. I love the Hawaii islands-- to me, I don't go to Oahu for the mellow laying out on the beach, rest and relaxation type of vacation... more

My boyfriend and I spent just three nights at the Kahala and my heart was captivated by the warm, gracious people, lovely decor and intimate, well maintained grounds of this elegant Honolulu legend. When we arrived on our first night at the port au cochere, it was love at first sight. Twinkling chandeliers in the grand lobby, which was decorated... more

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Kahala, and we wish we were still there! We're subscribing to other positive comments regarding the rooms, amenities, pool, beach, etc. Everything about the resort is pleasant, and the service we received was great. We just want to add a tip or two, mostly about the food options: As most people... more

We stayed five nights at this resort. We were greeted with a lei and escorted to our room. There was a bottle of champagne and a cake waiting for us-compliments of the Kahala. It was an anniversary trip. The room was very roomy and well appointed as was the bathroom. The staff was wonderful all around. The restaurants were delicious... more

My friend spent a bundle to get married at the Kahala Resort recently. I was her maid-of-honor and unofficial WC. We found out that the Kahala Resort's wedding packages are expensive and inflexible. It's also like wedding mill - one quick wedding ceremony after another. But the worst thing was that my friend was not allowed to bring in her... more
