Found the Pilgrim House on Trip Advisor and liked most of the reviews. The wife and I stayed 2 nights (nov 14 and 15) in room 9 which faces and sits over Spring street. While its a one way one lane street it is noisy with traffic but didn't keep us from getting a wonderful nights sleep. Next time I... More

The owner was stiff and unfriendly, never actually introduced herself to us. Breakfast was cold pastries and hard boiled eggs, weak coffee. There were mold stains (and smells!) In a bathroom that was the size of a small closet. Water splashed over the tiny sink if you tried to wash your face in it. You could feel the wire frame... More

Let me preface this with the fact that we didn't stay here. HOWEVER, that was only because booking.com made an error and it defaulted to a single room instead of the double we'd requested. When we went to check in on Friday night we were exhausted from sitting in traffic and the innkeeper, Barry, immediately greeted us as the door... More

Pilgrim House is a good base to explore Newport, lots of restaurants, bars, shops and history in walking distance. The B&B is fine without being exceptional, and the staff are great. However, at night the rather narrow Spring Street becomes very noisy with traffic, making it virtually impossible to sleep. It then starts again early in the morning with delivery... More

The Pilgrim House is located in the heart of Newport and offers all the comforts of a well established B&B. It's a short walk to all the main attractions that Newport has to offer. The feature that we enjoyed the most was the rooftop patio overlooking Newport Harbor. Its a wonderful place to start and end your day with either... More

Our room had 2 very comfortable double beds and was quaint and very very pretty. These people really like rabbits! Breakfast is free and is served up on the rooftop - healthy continental options with a stunning view!

The was our first time at the Pilgrim House Inn. The old building has been well kept. All three floors are clean and neat. There is a roof deck where guest can enjoy a harbor view breakfast as well as relaxing at any time of day or night. The inn is only a block from the waterfront. Innkeepers Barry and... More

Location is the best thing about the Pilgrim House. They have a rooftop deck where you can see the boats and nearby church steeple. You can walk down to the main shopping and eating area. Perfect. The inn is nestled among period homes and buildings. If you love historic type inns you will love it here. Along with this are... More

Selected the Inn via their website all the way from the UK. Looked perfect from the pictures but on arrival the decor suited a poor quality B&B in some tacky England coastal resort rather than an historical Victorian Inn in Newport. There weee bunnies everywhere, soft toys in the bedroom and bunny ornaments all over the house, creepy! Whilst the verandah... More

Great, inexpensive bed and breakfast. Fantastic staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms. I will be going back. The Pilgrim House Inn is themed to cute bunnies, which is a nice plus. Had a great Valentine's Day weekend there!
