We attended a day-long seminar followed by a banquet dinner at the Hyatt, and then spent the night in a room reserved by the seminar sponsor. The rooms were well appointed and well designed. The lighting in the bathroom was great for applying make-up. Excellent TV selections, with an impressive array of foreign language options. The evening meal was very... More

My husband and I found a great deal on Priceline. The hotel is off the beaten path of "downtown" but we preferred it that way. The grounds of this hotel is aka Goat Island and they are stunning. It's no wonder people choose this hotel for weddings. Valet parking was super reasonable (and prompt) at $5/day. Front desk was courteous... More

I just spent 4 nights at the Hyatt in Newport, Rhode Island. First the good parts. The staff - outstanding, really excellent. Helpful, knowledgeable and resourceful. Everything we asked for was addressed immediately and I cannot say enough about the positive and friendly attitude. Food was ok, not great or memorable just ok. The hotel itself is interesting. The rooms... More

Check in time is 4pm. We arrived at 4:30 pm and were told our room was not ready and they could not tell us when it would be ready. After a long day on the road this was not acceptable. They did apologize and give us a $25 voucher for food/drinks in the hotel. Day 2 our room was not... More

I stayed for 6 days over the summer. It was raining constantly on my balcony from the AC unit on the roof...there were moss and weeds growing from all of the water. I couldnt sit on the balcony b/c I would be splashed by the dirty water. The screen door was so filthy I could hardly see out to the... More

This hotel is in a perfect location with views to die for. Staff is fantastic, rooms were great. The entire hotel has a wonderful friendly feeling. We had to change dates with them at the last minute and they were great about it. I would definitely come here again and soon.

We stayed here for one night in October - in the Lighthouse wing. The room was lovely - quite spacious and modern, although it was a bit of a trek to get there navigating the corridors. Had a lovely view overlooking the lighthouse and bridge. We had a long journey from the Green Mountains to get to Newport, and on... More
