I was just in Newport again to visit friends and tried to stay at Marshall Slocum. Unfortunately they were fully booked, so I decided to try the Viking Hotel. Beautiful inn. Very comfortable and clean. No TV as noted in earlier review. Breakfast was the same every day. Not a full breakfast. Yogurt, fresh fruit w/ a few granola sprinkles. Our host called us the day before our arrival to say that the Inn was booked for a group and we would have to stay in an apartment next door!
