Awesome Inn! Awesome staff! We can't express how great our stay was! Highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spotless and staff was very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit.

I so wanted to say this was a premier bed and breakfast like the AAA 4 diamond hotel we stayed in Cape May, NJ but I found this place missing much. First, the positives. Check-in was easy. That location was only a block away from the Newport Blues Inn. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Depending on the day, eggs to order... More

My husband and I stayed at one of the Newport Blues Inn's locations, the Blue Jewel, in August 2014 and we had the most comfortable and restful stay! We were in the Diamond Room. The room itself was very clean with great decor, extremely comfortable bed and bedding and a super clean bathroom. The bathroom has a gorgeous, huge shower... More

The location is great, but the Inn is pretty dated. The room was larger than average, but lying in bed and looking up at a ceiling that is falling apart spoils the ambience (we were in the Harbor Room classified as a luxury suite!). Breakfast was ample if you do not mind the hot menu being one item which is... More

Dear LexMHM, Thank you so much for your feedback, as we are always looking to improve our inns! We regret to hear that your experience was anything less than perfect. Our inns are older, which adds to their quaintness, but also causes the problems of an old house! We are working on renovating the inns, so hopefully if you visit... More

This B&B is perfectly situated you can walk most anywhere and the staff are extremely accommodating. The suites are clean and quaint and much nicer than regular hotels. The breakfast is always good and they have a wide array. My family and I come here every year and we always have a great time and enjoy our stay at the... More

No central air conditioning which in the suite we had made cooling all the rooms problematic. Other than that we were provided with a pile of bathroom linens which was much appreciated and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were very good with made to order eggs, pancakes, French toast with a choice of breakfast meats. Delicious!!... More

Dean John, Thank you so much for your feedback! Some guests prefer their room cold, while others warmer, so the Newport Blues Inn does have air conditioners in the rooms to accommodate each guest's needs. If you come back to visit us, we can put you in our sister inn which does have central air! We hope to see you... More

Great breakfast, quaint B&B, and awesome weather! Really enjoyed our stay. B&B was very clean, the staff were very helpful with their suggestions... Right between Thames & Bellevue, great location - you can walk everywhere!!!

The weather in Newport is usually perfect: sunny and warm, but the ocean breeze prevents it from getting too hot! The Tuckerman room is on the second floor of the Newport Blues Inn and is in the back of the house, so it stays quiet throughout a busy weekend. The room also overlooks the private patio in the back of... More

Centrally located, close to the fun but away from the noise. It's great to wake up walk down the street to Thames (main street on the water), or up the street to Bellevue Ave (mansions). Nice rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, and the perfect porch for relaxing and meeting up.

Thames Street is a wonderful walk for all times of the day: to grab a coffee and sit by the water in the morning, visit the dozens of shops and restaurants for lunch, and enjoy the great night life in the evening! Our back porch also provides a tranquil and private place to meet up with friends while enjoying our... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful inn in Newport RI. It is the perfect launching place on Pelham Street to go to shops, restaurants or to take a walk. Our room had nice antique details and the bed was fabulous! We found the staff to be genuine and friendly, offering options for excursions. Newport Blues Inn is... More

Newport Blues Inn has updated bathrooms and other amenities, but also has charming antique designs creating an "old Newport" feel. There are countless activities to do in Newport, from music festivals, to sail boat cruises, to fishing excursions, and our staff is very knowledgable on the various events! More

Hubby and I spent the weekend at Newport Blues Inn and had a great experience. The room was like a hotel suite with a separate living room and a door that you could segregate the bedroom. We also had a cute balcony off the street and we could people watch:). The room included breakfast which was an added bonus, considering... More

Some of our rooms do include a living room connected to the bedroom, or a private balcony to people watch. This allows our guests to enjoy the busy streets while still being removed from the crowds! Restaurants in Newport can be expensive, so we do offer a breakfast every morning that includes a continental breakfast as well as a hot... More
