My husband and I stayed here in 2014 and used a livingsocial. I will not bore you with the details of the awful customer service we received, from the time of making reservations until after checking out. I have sent the Newport Blues Inn four emails providing feedback and asking for a response and I have yet to hear from... More

We stayed two nights a week ago from a Living Social deal, which was a very good value for the price. Positives: Friendly staff, excellent location (within walking distance to waterfront, but on a quiet street - a major plus!), two comfortable queen beds, satisfactory breakfast. Negatives: On-street parking (Could be a major problem in high season), tiny bathroom, lukewarm... More

B&B in an older house - spent two nights recently. Breakfasts were very good (greeted promptly & served with hot dish; plus many other items). Wifi worked well. Comfortable and convenient - close to harbor. One complaint - greeted by maid (metal in face) right after return from breakfast; not a convenient time so we declined. Weather was quite good... More

We purchased a Living Social deal to stay for two nights; we wound up with a room at the Newport Blues Inn. Several weeks in advance, we had requested a couple times (via phone and email) to have a room with two beds; our requests were ignored, and we wound up with one queen bed. We completely understood that not... More

We bought a living social deal for a 2 night weekend stay. We were in the Diamond room at the Blue Jewel. The room was a nice size, had 2 closets, one with shelves and the other with 2 hanging rods that are mounted too to he back closet wall (the closet wasn't very deep, so this is the only... More

Just stayed for one night at Newport Blues Inn in Oct 2014. Started out in Gooseberry Room. Bath was full of mold in the shower and the soap dish was falling off the wall with it half screwed in. I can assume from that that there is very little inspection of the rooms before renting them out. I complained and... More

First off, let me just say that September and October in Newport are ideal. Super beautiful, perfect fall weekend getaway. I loved every second of my long weekend spent at the Newport Blues Inn, but most of that time was spent out of the Inn. The rooms are a good size, the breakfast is basic, the location is great. There... More

My husband and I had a great get-a-way weekend and used a previously purchased Living Social voucher for our stay at the Newport Blues Inn. Having a late check-in-time - the management called us directly so we were aware of how to obtain our room key and parking pass - this was an appreciated gesture. The room was clean and... More

We recently had a 3 night stay at the newport blues inn. not only did we enjoy spectacular weather but had a lovely stay at this b and b. It is perfectly designed; affording privacy and the opportunity to socialize in very warm and cozy common areas. the room was spacious, the bathroom tremendous and the entire inn was clean... More

We went to Newport for the wine and food festival. We stayed on the third floor in the Memphis room with our friends who stayed in the Chicago room. The rooms were very clean and recently renovated. In addition there was a common area to use with a kitchen and a living area. The location is on Pelham Street with... More
