Gorgeous hotel with charming and helpful staff. Heather at the front desk is a font of knowledge and nothing is too much trouble. The waitress and doormen were incredibly friendly and kind. The outdoor pool is tiny but adorable and the indoor lap pool is great. The food is delicious. The scrambled eggs were truly the best I have ever... More

This is the kind of place that looks better in the internet. Our room was nice (201) but could not sleep 2 nights because the air conditioning is old and very loud. The pools that look great in the internet are not inviting and are cold, even the indoor pool. If you don't get a special rate or promotion avoid... More

This is a delightful small hotel. The location is perfect for the centre of Newport town. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a loft suite on the 3rd floor which was great, spacious, spotless and lots of conveniences. We found the cost of additional services refreshingly reasonably - valet parking $20 per 24 hours whereas the nearby... More

The hotel appears to be a lovely building and the view from the roof is gorgeous . . .however, on our second night, when we planned to spend the evening sipping wine and nibbling small plates while enjoying said view, we were asked to leave at 7 pm . We were told there was a private party and we could... More

This is a hidden gem in Newport. On a quite street up from the hustle bustle, this totally renovated property offers quiet elegance a true sense of getting away from it all. The rooftop bar is the perfect place to watch the sunset on warm summer evenings. There is an indoor pool as well as a serene plunge pool out... More

Stayed at the Vanderbilt Grace for a summer escape from New York. Location is wonderful -- walking distance to everything and parking is hard to come by in Newport. The concierge suggested and made all our dining reservations and we liked them all. The outdoor pool is perfect and mostly quiet; not too many children while I was outside reading... More

I just got back from the Vanderbilt Grace and all I can say is SERVICE SERVICE amazing SERVICE. I have been a lot of places and the service here is wonderful. The only complaint I have is that the temperature in the room was not easy to keep comfortable… It seemed to be either too hot or too cold all... More
