Very disappointed. Room was in a separate house from the main house. No common area. Very noisy due to Spring St traffic in the morning. No bath towels; had to call 5 times to get someone to answer and waited 15 mins for them to deliver the towels. The TV remote didn't work. Long wait to get into our room... More

Pearls is a group of houses connected by a shared courtyard that collectively make up this ideally located B&B. Having visited Newport many times over the years, this is by far the best location, very short 1/4 mile walk to downtown. Reasonably priced rooms include free parking too. Breakfast was tasty although it seemed odd they were out of the... More

Great stay - 2min walk to the water and some of he best restaurants in town. You can walk to the breakers within 20mins which is very nice. Rooms are nice size and are classic design. Our corner room overlooked gardens very nice. Breakfast in the morning is what the chef is making that day - all very good. Friendly... More

I am posting this review at a later date...my husband and I have stayed at Pearls several times. We love the rooms-very romantic. Ray and the other staff members are kind and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful. Can not wait to return.

What can we say... Ray the owner is amazing... the place is clean.. the room huge and fantastic ! Ralph Lauren bedding and such attention to detail. They offer a great breakfast... beach passes... and health club passes. All the employees seem to genuinely care about your stay. So rare ! We didn't want to leave !

Such a charming boutique hotel - we absolutely fell in love and are excited for our next trip back! Ray, the owner, is full of great information about the area. He is happy to help with anything you may need and seems to truly love what he does. Highly recommended.

Ray, the owner, is a very gentle and helpful person. You feel at Pearls like at home. Being at one corner of the port, you have access to a pool and fitness club, to a nice private beach, and at walking distance to the Mansions. We just had a very great time!

My daughter and I stopped at Pearls on our way up to Boston and had a delightful stay. Peter greeted us and after showing us our suite served us a glass of wine on the patio behind our building and gave us some tips about the area. The suite was extremely comfortable and well appointed - I had a hard... More

We found Pearls last-minute for a 3-day weekend getaway to Newport. Relative to most of the other accommodations in Newport, Pearls was also very inexpensive. I had no idea what we would be getting for that price! Right from check-in, we met Ray, who is one of the most hospitable people I have ever met. He brought us to our... More

Ray and Peter were incredible hosts and made our weekend extra special. Pearls is perfectly imperfect with beautiful and thoughtfully appointed guest suits and a whimsical garden for afternoon prosecco. We plan to visit again soon!
