The Pearls had a lot of character. It was very comfortable and the price was right. A very good value. It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants and a five minute drive to the Mansions and the Tennis Hall of Fame.

If you're looking for a special spot in lovely Newport. This is the spot. Enjoy a home feel with a 5star resort. Great location and even better rooms. All the best parts of Newport without the price. Ask for Ray. He'll welcome you with open arms.

I wanted to love Pearls. The gentlemen hoteliers were eager to help, friendly and hospitable. We were not the easiest guests, but nonetheless I should not have to apologize at the price for the room. It was freezing in our rooms. The decor was odd, and the furnishings reminiscent of a dead aunt's house. The towels were stained and threadbare.... More

Pearls of Newport is a nice place to stay but there are no frills. Its very close to town which is very nice. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was amazing and the bed comfortable. Plan to spend your time in town.

This place is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable in every way. Ray and Peter were fantastic in making us feel welcome, and breakfast was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, and the location is a block from Thames street, accessible to everything on foot. We stayed in a suite and we will be back, soon!

Everything about our stay at Pearls was great. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the location in Newport can't be beat. Ray and Peter were extremely helpful whether it was telling us which mansions to visit, where to shop, where to eat, or where to go for some entertainment. Ray cooks an awesome breakfast in the mornings and will make... More

Fabulous weekend. Our room at Pearls was so cute and had a lovely fireplace (which the owner, Ray, lit for us both nights). Ray and Peter were incredibly helpful with everything from restaurant tips to advice on which mansions to visit and bars to check out. Breakfast was served both mornings, which Ray cooks himself, and is completely delicious. It's... More
