Once again, we experienced gracious hosts, comfortable, clean accommodations, delightful breakfast, perfect location, off street parking. The Almondy is without question, the best place to stay in Newport.

My husband and I stayed here for only one night, but enjoyed it tremendously. What we liked about Almondy Inn: gracious host Evelyn, wonderful breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese, excellent location, on-site parking, comfortable bed, and a huge bathtub. Would definitely want to stay here again if we return to Newport.

No need to look further. Every inn should be as well run as this one. Excellent breakfast, service, rooms, and hospitality. We stayed in The Lanai Suite which was lovely and spacious. Evelyn, the inn keeper, is very experienced and helpful regarding restaurant choices, attractions, directions and interests. The location is perfect for walking to many activities. When I stay... This very charming Victorian B&B run by a Dutch couple is the perfect starting point to explore Newport, RI. It is located downtown in stone throwing distance from the harbor and its many dining options. The insider tips from the hostess were very welcome. The service and breakfast were excellent. Our room was small and the bathroom tiny. It is... More

We found the Almondy Inn from reading other TA reviews and could not be more pleased! Evelyn is a gracious host and the Inn is well appointed without being stuffy. We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon wine, cheese & crackers, along with getting to know Evelyn while also meeting the other people staying at the inn. After a wonderful night's stay,... More

I recently went up to Newport for the Folk Festival. I had never been there before and felt a little at sea about finding the right place. Lucky me to have landed at the Almondy! What a beautiful inn, with the most wonderful hosts. I got there early and got to have a wonderful chat with Evelyne. She and Herber... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Almondy Inn. We chose the Inn based on the great reviews we read, especially of Evelyn. We were not let down. Evelyn was a great hostess and breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Plantation room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Inn was very quiet....you... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Almondy Inn very much. We stayed 3 nights for our 30th anniversary in the Sunset room. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Inn was meticulously maintained and the room was spotless. Location of the Inn is right in the heart of many wharf attractions and you could just about walk to anywhere along the docks... More
