We had a great stay at the Bayberry. The room was superb - in particular the bathroom - one we'd like for our own home. The location couldn't have been better. It's a wonderful B&B and what made it very special were the owners. Karen was a sweetheart, going the extra mile to make our stay superb - even helping... more

On our trip to the Wooden Boat Show at Mystic Seaport, Conn., we took a one day side trip to Newport, R.I. About 7:00 pm, we decided we should look for a place to spend the night. We drove by the Bayberry Inn and just decided to stop to see what was available. Karen was so very nice and hospitable,... more

For our first anniversary, my husband and I booked a room based on multiple websites giving it a pretty good review and their beautiful website. On arrival, we both looked at one another and go the "ut oh" feeling as the outside of the Inn was in great need of a good power washing and paint job. As we entered... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Bayberry Inn over Memorial Day weekend. A friend of ours recommended the Inn, they stayed there 3 or 4 times and said every time they tried a different room, breakfast was always good and overall worth the money compared with some of the extremely expensive Inns we looked into in Newport, that was... more

My husband and I went to Newport a week ago. From reading through the many TripAdvisor reviews we chose to stay at the Bayberry Inn of Newport. From the time we first called the Inn to make our reservations to the time we checked out we had a wonderful experience. After making the reservation we received a confirmation email with... more

The place was a bit run down. The breakfast provided was just okay. Bedroom was lack of furniture or place to hang your clothes. No wardrobe/closet. It was located near the heart of the town but for the price, not worthed. The service was only an average. Don't think will come back again. more

Had I had read the reviews on TripAdvisor website, I would never have booked my stay here. Upon walking up the side step to the front porch I was greeted with a dirty black plastic ash tray full of cigaret butts and a stub of a cigar. As I walked to the front door past some outdoor seating there were... more

We decided to get married in March in Newport and more or less elope. We just wanted the experience to be us so I found The Bayberry Inn online and called up to see if they could accomodate our request. Karen, the innkeeper was more than helpful and got excited at the thought of having a wedding on her property.... more

Spent 4 days 3 nights in Newport, RI. We are return visitors, and have stayed in other inns in town. We found the Bayberry to be notably nicer than most. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. The Innkeeper and her husband were MOST accommodating. Always willing to help in whatever way they could to make your stay memorable. They made themselves... more

My husband and I had a great get away weekend. The room was large and roomy, yet cozy and warm with the gas fireplace. The room was clean, the bathroom could have used a bit more attention in the nooks and crannys. There were small hairs and dust behind the toilet and on the floor in front of the shower,... more
