My wife and I stayed for our 2 year anniversary and had a great time at the Beech Tree Inn. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful in pointing us in the right direction for restaurants, sights, and things to do in Newport. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, definitely on the larger side for a B&B. It is... More

We had a the room on the third floor which opens to the third floor deck. Also on the third floor was a kitchenette great place to keep yor personal beverages and leftovers. Great breakfast every morning walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. We did not rent a car we walked everywhere.

I am traditionally not a BnB kinda person. This BnB has changed my mind. The room was clean, large, and VERY comfortable. The owner was a delightful man who could not have been more helpful or nice. The location was walking distance to all that we wanted to do. Parking was easy. I definitely recommend Beech Tree Inn.

This isn't the most glamorous spot we've ever stayed, but it's COMFORTABLE. it's CLEAN. and the people are NICE. we had a massive jacuzzi tub in our room, and a shower that would have held an elephant. the TV was big enough, the air conditioning was a real plus, and it was lovely and quiet (room 301). we booked quite... I'm NOT going to poorly rate the Inn as I never had the chance to stay there. I DO understand their reservation cancel policy, I just don't like it. I made a reservation in June for an October stay. In early July, my plans changed and I had to cancel the 2 day stay. I know October is a busy... More

Lovely place to stay. Free parking in the backyard (many parking lots there). Very nice rooms, very clean and everything is in top shape. We saw several rooms and the above description fits all of them. Quiet and relaxing. Very good breakfast with many things to choose. Walking down to the harbor takes about 15 minutes and is a pleasant... More

Our stay here was overall a great experience. The location is a bit further out from the attractions of Newport and the Wharf than where we've stayed in the past but I was mainly in the area for business and we also had bikes with us, it's a quick ride into town on bike or a twenty minute walk. There... More

The location is the best part of the Inn. It is within walking distance of some very good places to eat. The breakfasts are generous and well prepared. We were on the top floor of the main house - which is nice for not having noise from people above you - but it is hike for those of us in... More

My partner and I visited this cute and cosy B&B back in Feb 2015 and it was wonderful. Our room was on the second floor (walk up) and the price was great (off peak). There was a fireplace in the bedroom with a porch directly off the bedroom. It was cold so we didn't use it but I imagine in... More

We stayed for a week during the Volvo Ocean Races and were thrilled with the location - within easy walk to downtown in one direction and the Cliff Walk in the other direction. The Inn is immaculate and beautifully decorated and the breakfast is lovely - prepared to your specification and delivered to your table. A beautiful little garden bursting... More
