Huge, comfortable suite, amusing decor, great views of water and Goat Island, walking distance to center and around historic old section. Massive breakfast, very good. Helpful, affable hosts. Beautiful garden. Expensive in season, but so is everything else in Newport. Be sure to spend some time lounging in the tower.

Absolutely enjoyed all the antiques and family history. Being able to walk into town and being near the water was an absolute pleasure and an ideal way to spend time. The innkeeper was genuinely nice and made time to talk about the home and area. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

We stayed at the Sarah Kendall house two weekends ago from a friends recommendation. What a wonderful place, great location and host with lots of stories and personal touches that made our experience unforgetable!!! Our breakfasts wete family style and impressive.
