From our arrival through to our departure our stay was made personal and homely. Innkeeper Chris was on hand to welcome us with not just general information about Newport but also tailored to our particular interest - the local architectureand history. Our room on the top floor was comfortable and roomy packed with books and personal touches. Indeed the whole... more

Two couples decided to have a nice weekend in Newport. The big hotels are VERY expensive, but there are deals to be had in the B&B's. The questions are always "is the property nice, and are the proprietors nice?" We had two large, light, airy and delightful rooms in the Touro Park Inn, and Chris, the proprietor, could not have... more

This Bed and Breakfast was everything you could want in a "home away from home." The historic old house is filled with comfortable, traditional furnishings, pictures and artifacts. The location is ideal. Located facing Touro Park with the famous Old Stone Mill, it is a short block to Bellevue Avenue with a trolley to the Mansions, Cliff Walk, Visitors Center... more

We just got back from a weekend in Newport at the Touro Park Inn. We had walked past this inn numerous times and thought it was too high end for us but were pleasantly surprised by the off-season rates. The inn is much nicer the website shows - with very large bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed in the Sailer's rest... more

Two friends and I spent three delightful days in Newport lodged at the Touro Park Inn. Chris, the innkeeper, has thought of everything! There are homemade cookies in the upstairs lounge, wine glasses and wine openers in the butler's pantry, off street parking, water in the refrigerator, and more. The master suite was large and comfortable. There was a gas... more

We stayed at the Touro Park Inn for three nights and enjoyed our visit immensely. The inn is in a great location with free private parking which certainly is a plus in congested Newport. It is a short walk to the historic downtown and waterfront and also very convenient to the mansions on Bellevue Avenue. Chris, the innkeeper, was wonderful;... more

I have to say that no stone was left unturned with regard to attention to detail at this lovely Inn. This was my first visit to Newport and the location is excellent. Chris, the Inn keeper was phenomenal. From greeting us at the door, providing homemade afternoon cookies, tea, a hot gourmet entree in the morning, having a flashlight on... more

I’ve had the pleasure of using Touro Park Inn for lodging on two occasions; one for business, the other as part of a family get-away. Using many superlatives or laudatory compliments to describe my experiences at Touro Park Inn would fall short of doing it justice. Pride in ownership and customer service is well-evident when you arrive and are greeted... more

Touro Park was the perfect place for our visit to Newport. The location is ideal and walking distance to everything - shops, restaurants, mansions, museums, and the waterfront. Our host, Chris, was so accommodating and was always available to answer questions. The inn is so clean and beautifully decorated - would highly recommend and we would visit again. more
