We have stayed in several Bed and Breakfasts and this was our best experience. We weren't sure about La Farge when we booked our trip. We were last minute and had very limited options. It turns out we definitely made the right choice. It was better then Inn options that were unavailable to us! The location was perfect and we... More

Our trip to Newport was to celebrate our anniversary. Staying at La Farge Perry House was like being on vacation yet having the conveniences of your own home. Marise is a gem and her hospitality and warmth made our stay extra special. Her breakfasts and amazing baked treats were an added pleasure. Our room was comfortable and clean and the... More

I was totally impressed with Marise, the innkeeper and gracious hostess of this beautiful B&B. She was welcoming of both myself and my daughter - relaxed and friendly, it felt like home within moments of arriving. She listened and responded to our requests and then creatively offered additional suggestions she thought we would enjoy. The room was lovely, breakfast was... More

We stayed only one night; wished we could have stayed longer. The house is gracious and the innkeeper, Marise, is equally gracious, if not more so. Charming, efficient and professional. She recommended JUST the right spot for our dinner. Our room, the Master Suite, was spacious with a large bath and ample closet space. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely spot. Located on a quiet street far from the busy waterfront area. We had a large, comfortable room. Great bed! Added benefit, free parking on site, which is a huge bonus in Newport. Marise is charming and friendly and made the most wonderful fluffy omelets. Beautiful dining room. We only wished we could have stayed longer. We will be... More

Off the bat Marise, the innkeeper, was fabulous. She welcomed us in, gave us the tour and had us down in the kitchen mapping out where to go's within minutes. Her sense of humor, helpful guidance and warm welcoming spirit were exactly what we were looking for. The room, Master suite, was beautiful in a historically classic sense from bed... More

My wife and I stayed here during the week, Wednesday through Friday and we could not have found a more charming facility to stay in. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped, decadent plush towels and robe, in-room refrigerator, and all rooms except one with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Located on quiet Kay Street and with ample off-street... More

After New York, this was our first B&B / Inn, and what a great first! The host, Marise, was welcoming, helpful, informative and a wonderful character, she really made our stay. The house is charming & eclectic, sparkingly clean and perfectly maintained & presented. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the house is within strolling distance of central Newport,... More

We stayed at the La Farge Perry House last Friday night because we had a wedding in town. My parents stayed as well. My boyfriend and I arrived early, so we stopped by to see if we could get an early check in. Marise, the Inn Keeper answered the door and was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room wasn't quite... More

I visited Newport in a mid week vacation and found the inn via a Living Social offer. What a nice surprise! Gorgeous rooms, historic details, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and the charming inkeeper, Marise who provides excellent advice on mansions and restaurants to visit. Choose rooms on upper floors.
