Lovely spot. Located on a quiet street far from the busy waterfront area. We had a large, comfortable room. Great bed! Added benefit, free parking on site, which is a huge bonus in Newport. Marise is charming and friendly and made the most wonderful fluffy omelets. Beautiful dining room. We only wished we could have stayed longer. We will be... More

Off the bat Marise, the innkeeper, was fabulous. She welcomed us in, gave us the tour and had us down in the kitchen mapping out where to go's within minutes. Her sense of humor, helpful guidance and warm welcoming spirit were exactly what we were looking for. The room, Master suite, was beautiful in a historically classic sense from bed... More

My wife and I stayed here during the week, Wednesday through Friday and we could not have found a more charming facility to stay in. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped, decadent plush towels and robe, in-room refrigerator, and all rooms except one with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Located on quiet Kay Street and with ample off-street... More

After New York, this was our first B&B / Inn, and what a great first! The host, Marise, was welcoming, helpful, informative and a wonderful character, she really made our stay. The house is charming & eclectic, sparkingly clean and perfectly maintained & presented. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the house is within strolling distance of central Newport,... More

We stayed at the La Farge Perry House last Friday night because we had a wedding in town. My parents stayed as well. My boyfriend and I arrived early, so we stopped by to see if we could get an early check in. Marise, the Inn Keeper answered the door and was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room wasn't quite... More

I visited Newport in a mid week vacation and found the inn via a Living Social offer. What a nice surprise! Gorgeous rooms, historic details, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and the charming inkeeper, Marise who provides excellent advice on mansions and restaurants to visit. Choose rooms on upper floors.

My husband and I stayed here the last weekend in may. We were hoping for a relaxing long weekend away, and it exceeded all our expectation! Marise was AMAZING! From the moment we walked in she was so warm and welcoming. She went over the details of our stay, made suggestions for restaurants and activities, she made dinner reservations for... More

My husband and I stayed in the John LaFarge room, which was absolutely gorgeous. The whole house was stunning and was full of historic details. We totally fell in love with our innkeeper, Marise, who guided us to the best restaurants in town and made us feel like we were her family. The area of course was amazing, and we... More
