Was looking forward to our first stay here and were shocked when we open the door to the unit. A total dump with stained furniture and stained carpets. Old and banged up furniture and just a dirty feeling in general. Told the exact thing to the front desk when they called to check on us after arrive, they didn't seem... More

I did apologize when I called to check to see how the room was and I also mentioned that we were in the process of getting new carpets. I'm not sure what stains you were referring to on the furniture, but I went up after you had left and did not see any. Had you checked out with us at... More

This room exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with our stay. There were a few little annoyances, like no towels in the downstairs bathroom, but none that ruined our trip. We had so much room! it was a two bedroom suite with two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and a sitting room, kitchenette and dining area downstairs. the... More

Newport Bay Club is a timeshare that is a really great hotel. I have never stayed in the suites, only the town houses. The two bedroom townhouses are huge. You have balconies on both levels. The town house comes with a nice pantry kitchen. The hotel has a really nice deck on the 3rd floor which overlooks the harbor and... More

I have been going here for years and I hate to say it but nowhere where it used to be! Great location but in desperate need of a renovation!. Furniture old out dated as well as carpeting even the towels felt a little gross. I know things wear out over years of use but it's time!

Please be aware that this is a time-share property, not a full-service hotel. It does not have a fancy lobby, porter services, room service, etc. What it does have is separate living and sleeping areas, and kitchenettes--it's like a home away from home. We also want a balcony, and the townhouses have balconies on both levels. Ours was a one... More

This hotel looks exactly as pictured on their website. It's beautiful. Sometimes you don't get what you see on line, like the photos are 4 years old. Not here. We stayed in a one bedroom, 2 level room. 2 balconies with views, Huge shower. Clean and well appointed. There was a small kitchenette. There was a free continental breakfast, not... More

Just spent a week here. Would agree that walls are thin, but not in bedroom area. Suite was immaculate and kept that way every day all week. Furnishings are a bit dated, but comfortable with excellent bed. Ample room, great shower, and quiet, easily regulated heat. Within easy walking distance of wharves, great food, fun shops.

Was ready to climb into bed and ick, the pillows smelled old and used. I wound up putting a t-shirt over the pillow, but even then i just really did not like sleeping on it. Bed linens were worn out too, felt thin and pilled. Even other good stuff can't overcome my feeling like the bed had been slept in.

Wished I could have stayed for more than one night. The room was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. Time felt like it stood still. The food in the downstairs Tavern was just right and the staff was very friendly and cheerful. Love the stone walls and lights in the windows. The huge walk in shower was definitely a highlight too!
