My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice and it was awesome both times. As college twenty-somethings, we can't always afford a five star place to stay. After a couple days of research, we found Newport Bay Club & Hotel. We stayed in a huge one bedroom suite overlooking the intersection in January 2015. It was perfect for us and... More

Lovely old building, in a really great location. Mini-kitchen very useful and parking a huge plus in a part of town where that can be scarce. Staff were very friendly and helpful, right down to promptly calling us and offering to on-send an item we'd left behind. Only negative was that the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

My three friends and I stayed in a townhouse at the Newport Bay Club and Hotel in late June for one evening. Upon arrival, we were greeted in the hotel's small, but functional lobby. Although we had arrived extremely early, the staff did its best to check us in one hour earlier than usual. Each staff member that we interacted... More

Perfect location, very roomy two story suite with two harbor view decks, kitchen, very comfortable. Courteous staff, quiet but located right in the middle of Newport. Will definitely return. Negatives - needs a rehab generally, old furniture, baths. And the free breakfast was an apple, shrink wrapped Danish, and yogurt cup with coffee. Pretty disappointing. But the views, location, and... More

Stayed in room 300 with a master bedroom with a queen and a pull out couch. Room had a full kitchen and dining area. It was clean and nicely decorated. Close and within walking distance to the waterfront wharfs, which have shopping and restaurants. Continental breakfast of muffins, Danishes, fruit and yogurt provided as well as coffee and OJ. Staff... More

I was in the area with my daughter earlier this week Loki gat colleges. We ended up in Newport too tired to head to Boston. I typically stay at the Marriott but it was closed for renovations. I called this hotel. The woman who answered was so sweet...ten minutes later I walked in and secured my reservation. When we got... More

We had a one bedroom suite and found it quite pleasant. We loved how cozy the rooms were when we came in from the cold and snow! Nicely situated downtown, near coffee shops and restos and of course the harbor. Lighting really plays up the good points, and we loved the ceiling and shutters on the windows. Kitchenette was great... More

Stayed I March with a suite deal that included two $25 restaurant gift certificates. Parking was convenient by the hotel although due to central location I walked everywhere in Newport. Spacious living room area dining table and small kitchen included in addition to a separate bedroom. Bathroom had a huge shower but small sink area. Free wifi and good selection... More

This was my first stay at the Newport Bay Club & Hotel and I was extremely impressed. I stayed for a weekend with my boyfriend and we pleasantly impressed.
