This was my first stay at the Newport Bay Club & Hotel and I was extremely impressed. I stayed for a weekend with my boyfriend and we pleasantly impressed. When we entered the lobby we were immediately greeted by a warm, friendly clerk who was more than willing to answer any and all questions we had and offered lots of... More

This hotel/resort is right in the center of downtown Newport and in walking distance to everything. Parking could be a challenge in the summer but now in Jan the town is really dead. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all around is because the carpet was old and looked dirty but all else was very clean.

We love this spot. Our 2nd stay. Close to all walkin distance. Check in/out was fine. Housekeeping no problems. No issues at all. Just a great place downtown! Room was warm and cozy. Loved the kitchenette

My sisters and I just recently visited Newport, RI in November 2014 and stayed at this hotel. You couldn't be more centrally located in Newport with shopping and restaurants all nearby / walking distance. This hotel is on the water so our room had a partial water view from the deck. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The townhouse style... More

The fourth floor apartment offered great views from the two outside balcony's and the spiral stairs to the bedroom was cool.It could be an issue if you have large bags or any physical ailments. It is situated on Thames st .at the head of a pier, in the center of all the action. The rooms were... More

We loved the room, it was more like an apartment. It was very spacious. It is located downtown, so easy to walk to destinations. We asked the front desk if they knew where we could find creamer for our in room am coffee. She brought us many creamers and milk. She went above and beyond. I met a couple in... More

We were there the last week in October and it was beautiful. We had a suite on the top floor that was very nice. Each room had it's own balcony...sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking. Paula was especially helpful! She was a fountain of information with ideas, helpful hints, making reservations.... It was fun having all the shops and restaurants within... More

located in the middle of it all. Nbch has spacious rooms. Clean rooms, updated appliances. Friendly staff and parking. Downside some renovations needed and breakfast was horrific. Otherwise a well kept secret worth the rate. Across the street is an oyster bar and nearby is a nice breakfast nook. Could update the breakfast to include fruit, bagels and not just... More

We had no reservations for our 1 night in Newport so we checked with the Visitors Center and they found this hotel for us. The price was great so we took it. The location was perfect and the 2 rooms we took were very comfortable with a living area, kitchen, dining area and 1 bedroom. It's an old cotton mill... More
