This little inn is well situated in a street parallel to the main shopping area and also parallel to the mansions street. Flowers and pot plants everywhere, as well as magazines and books available for guests - even a table chess set - give a warm welcome. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed and the bathrooms have lovely fluffy... More

The inn is just one street away from all the action, breakfast was wonderful and creative each morning. Phil is a wonderful host who cares that his guests a happy. Most everything in the area is in walking distance. Walking the neighborhood give you a good idea that Newport is more than sailing and mansions.

The Spring Street Inn is cozy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They will charge your credit card a week before your arrival. My husband enjoyed the breakfast. Good location. Parking is tight but available.

We stayed here briefly but really liked it..happy to stay longer someday. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the breakfast was great. They made a real effort to make you feel at home and the location was perfect too.

Beautiful house, friendly and attentive hosts, delicious breakfast (cod cakes with hollandaise sauce, egg and bacon & yogurt and fruit) and ideal location - just a short walk from Thames street and all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Visting from NY and stayed at this charming B & B with my brother. Centrally located and within walking distant to downtown (5min) and all mansions (10-15min). Lovely hospitality: Breakfast was different each day - only prepared when you are ready to eat/seated & it is always so nicely presented (facebook worthy!). Fresh flowers on the dinning table, beatiful table... More

The room on the second floor was nice, comfortable bed, but nothing outstanding. Very small TV, nice size bathroom but just a shower, no tub. It had a common room in between the rooms on that floor which was plainly decorated with just a few magazines provided. The guests in the room across the hall decided to gather there really... More

My husband and I stayed for three nites. this is a nice B&B, very clean, private parking. Lots of goodies to eat during the day after a full day out, and great location close to the wharfs. Phil, the manager, was great, and the other travelers that stayed there were so friendly and nice. Thank you, Phil, for making our... More

We recently stayed for two nights and were upgraded to the top floor room for which we were very grateful. It had a nice terrace overlooking the water and was very spacious. It was clean but a little bit worn but it is and old house so I guess it goes with character. Breakfast was different each day according to... More

Interesting review I must say. We do daily specials for breakfast everyday, we also offer every dietary need possible. Once you mention it to Phil he will make sure your needs are met. Without mentioning what your dietary needs are we can not provide you the best service we are dedicated to. As for worn, a house that is 1850... More
