My husband, teenage son and I stayed here 1 night for my birthday. It was a last minute thing and Patriots Day weekend, and we were told the only rooms available were 1 queen or a suite, so we took the suite. It was in the historical building, 2 separate BRs (1 with a queen and the other had 2... More

We spent Thursday to Saturday of Easter weekend at this hotel;since it was off season it didn't get crowded until Friday evening. Our room was a 1-bedroom suite in the 'new' building-very nice room with a small but fully equipped kitchen area, king bed in the bedroom, and sleep sofa in the living room/kitchen. We really could have used a... More

We checked in after 10 pm and found used towels and a filled waste basket in the bathroom, a slice of pizza on a paper plate in front of the flat screen tv, one of our daily chocolates eaten, pillows in disarray, and an open window with the ac blasting. We requested a different room that night (but no beach... More

My Husband, daughter and 3 grandchildren stayed in the historic building in a family suite ( 2 bedrooms connected by a living area with pull out sofa). We had a delightful time! Our rooms were spotless, beds and pillows were comfy, the ocean view was lovely and my all time favorite...the screened windows opened for fresh air! The young woman... More

What a genius..the owners of this hotel invested their money in the ROOMS, not the lobby and public area! When we checked in, having gotten this hotel from Priceline, we were a bit concerned after noting that the lobby was somewhat dated and shabby. We asked for an upgrade considering it was a Sunday night off season. We wound up... More

Newport Beach Hotel & Suites is an ideal place to stay if you want to be a little out of the way but still close to everything. I go there usually twice a year in the off season. Its a great value at this time. I usually opt for a room in the historic building but you can get a... More

I just returned from 3 nights at this hotel while in Newport for my son's graduation from OCS at the Newport Naval Base. Honestly, I picked it because of reviews on this site as well as what seemed an incredible value @ $69 per night. I chose the smallest room available @ 170 sq ft with one queen size bed... More

My son and I each reserved two seperate two bedroom suites in their new building in December of 2011 for St Patty's day 2012. They us to pay up front the total amount for these suites. Two days before I was scheduled to check in I recieved a call from the manager that the hotel was over booked and I... More

Suite was a bit small. A pack of cigarettes was left in the closet (what else? Newports!) Ours was one of two rooms that had access to the rooftop hot tub. A bonus if you're a party person, not so much for our couples weekend. People were very loud until very late (past midnight). Shower door made the shower hard... More

This is one of the only hotels near the beach in Newport. It is not right in the middle of downtown near the pier and most restaurants and hotels. It is a short cab ride wherever you need to go. The nice part of the hotel is the proximity to the beach and mansion walk. I stayed in the newer... More
