This was a very bad experience, the rooms are small and we have no view at all except another building just in front of our room. The location is horrible , the hotel is not at all in Newport (we had a hard time finding our way with the GPS because the address doesnt exist in Newport) The hotel is... more

Our two families (adult kids, toddler grandchild) enjoyed a wonderful stay in the renovated building - which is beautiful! This gem of a hotel is listed with Historic Hotels of America. The historic character of the building has been preserved, which might explain some of the complaints which others have had about the hotel's layout. True - the floors are... more

Great stay for a wedding in Newport. New suites are beautiful and very comfortable beds. Free wi-fi and pretty good breakfast in the lobby. Easy to get into town and right on the beach. Granted you have to cross the street to get to the beach but really easy. Also close to the cliff walk which is a must do. more

We stayed one night at the newly renovated Newport Beach Hotel & Suites. The room was tiny but very pleasantly appointed. The crisp white, blue and dark wood decor gave you a great 'by the sea' feeling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The problem was the noise level. It started in the lobby with funky latin music played... more

Five of us were on a girls' weekend. We booked the king suite with 2 bedrooms and a separate living area but got upgraded to a king-king corner suite. This was in the new addition and it is brand new. The room had a full kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher and washer/dryer. Granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms. A... more

we were recommended this hotel by the Newport Visitors Center and I'm glad we went here. It's all newly renovated and quite nice. Our room which was up a maze of stairwells and elevators were fun to get to and our room overlooked the bay and could see the ocean. I'd recommend it any day. more

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had an amazing time. This hotel was PERFECT for an impromptu romantic vacation. We took walks on the beach every day, which was right in front of the hotel. The free breakfast was great- my boyfriend ate like 5 muffins! The front desk had great suggestions for restaurants and things to... more

Just returned from Newport. The hotel is in a great location, but the construction is not done yet, even though it was promised to be done by August, 2008. The location of the hotel is very convenient to Cliff Walk and Downtown Newport which is only a 5 minute car ride. We were told that all amenities were available, but... more

Stayed two days Sunday and Monday in the first week in September. I need to get the good bits over with first................ the rooms (even the standard) are very well equipped. They have HD flat screen TV, microwave ovens, fridge, coffee maker..............and they have all been recently decorated. That's it. The good bits are listed. Now for the bad bits..................... more
