After some of the reviews I read on this hotel I was a bit nervous to stay here because people said that the customer service was poor. Out of every where and everything we did on our trip this place had THE best customer service! We felt very welcomed by all of the inn's staff and each one holds a... more

We stayed at the Yankee Peddler Inn for 3 nights and had a great experience. We were in room 17 of the carriage house. Although it was small, we found it to be very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom looked as though it had been recently renovated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved how close we were to... more

We had a very ominous start after we pulled into the parking lot and got out of our car to head inside and check-in. We seemed to have walked into a loud "conversation" that two of the Inn employees/keepers were having; one from the roof and one from the ground - arguing in front of guests about what the other... more

My boyfriend and I were traveling to New England for 11 days, and the first night we were traveling we did not schedule a place to stay just to see where we ended up. I tried calling a few places in newport, RI before finding that this Inn had 2 rooms available that night. She told me she would hold... more

This comment is in reference to their non-existent customer service. I had a reservation to stay for one night on September 25, 2008. Unfortunately, due to a problem with my airline reservations, I was unable to make the trip and called the Inn on the evening of September 23, 2008 to let them know that I couldn't make my reservation.... more

This was our 3rd year in a row and 2nd stay with our 3 children. Again we were not dissapointed by this lovely and charming inn. We love the fact that they allow 5 in a room. Other hotels would require you to purchase a 2nd room. Not here they gave us a very large and comfortable air mattress to... more

Not ready to return home from our New England vacation, we swung into Newport without a net and found ourselves comfortably ensconced at the Yankee Peddler Inn (we got the last room available, due to a last-minute cancellation). We thought the Inn was exceptionally nice and homey...Jane's a doll, and the breakfast and setting are wonderful. The place is impeccably... more

We stayed at The Yankee Peddler Inn in Newport for 5 nights in June of 2008. Without my knowledge, my sister made the reservation for both she and her family, and for my daughter, husband and me. Typically I monitor all feedback on Trip Advisor before I make any lodging decision; she on the other hand does not. After reading... more

The Yankee Peddler in provides a thoroughly agreeable place to spend a night in the overpriced town of Newport. Our room was larger than anticipated, and spotlessly clean, especially the spacious bathroom. The inn has two outside patio areas (one of which has a dozen bright green adirondack chairs set up in a slightly intimidating circle), and the house itself--a... more

We stayed at this small bed and breakfast style inn for Memorial Day weekend and were pleased with our experience. The inn is small and antique. The parking lot was small, but not an issue, since they take your keys upon check-in so that your vehicle can be moved if needed. The inn is in a great location to all... more
