We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Ivy Lodge. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful! We loved our room! Very comfortable and warm! Breakfast was fantastic! Best pancakes I've ever had! We also purchased our tickets for the mansions' tour from them at a discounted rate which was nice.

I have been staying at the Ivy Lodge during my annual summer visits to Newport since 2010. It is truly one of the most beautiful houses in America and the location cannot be beat! However...one of my stays there was very uncomfortable in 2012, the former owner, Darrell made me feel quite unwelcome and treated me with a condescension that... More

We recently spent two nights at the lovely Ivy Lodge with out-of-town friends. Both of our rooms were beautiful and comfortable—the perfect mix of old and new—and immaculately clean. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. They cooked and served delicious breakfasts each morning and were happy to accommodate changes to their menu. Snacks and beverages were available day and night,... Partner and I spent a night here between NY and Boston. Room was clean and comfortable, hosts were friendly, breakfast was quite nice and the location was great for exploring the mansions and doing the cliff walk. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is a beautiful place. Large, 20,000 square feet!! But felt intimate. The Inn Keepers, were delightful. New to Inn Keeping, but proficient. The porches were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and there was easy access to snacks/tea, etc. There were a couple of different living areas to spend time. Only wish we would have been able to stay a couple more... More

We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Ivy Lodge, October 10th and 11th. We stayed in a suite with a trundle bed for the children. Out room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was huge with an oversized shower. Breakfast was served both mornings with a coffee and tea bar available during the day and evening with... More

My husband and I hosted a weekend meeting with 9 other couples. We rented the entire lodge for our three night stay (Thur-Sun) It was a delightful weekend complete with great weather. The Lodge is in a good location to walk to shopping on Bellvue , the Cliff Walk and the mansions (Elms is very close). All the rooms were... More

If you're a fan of 19th century architecture, Newport is a must for your bucket-list and if you want to truly soak in the charm and character of victorian Newport, a stay at Ivy Lodge will make your experience complete. Nestled on a tree-lined street amongst the picturesque houses that all harken back to an earlier age of elegance, Ivy... More

This was my 1st stay in a B&B and I was impressed. I was nervous that a B&B would be too much like staying at my Grandmother's house. Nothing could be further from the truth, especially at the upscale Ivy Lodge. From the moment you enter the lovely gates and through the handsome front door, you know you have found... More

We've stayed at the Ivy Lodge a couple of times....just had to go back after our first stay! The rooms are gorgeous and make you feel like you're a millionaire living in your own Newport Mansion. And the Lodge is close to everything...Cliff Walk, town, the mansions. And if you don't know what to do, the owners are happy to... More
