Yes, other reviews have said the same thing: right off Thames street. $18 parking at the lot across the street (be sure to park, take your ticket to the hotel front desk and pay them to get the discounted rate). Tea time is cute (store bought goodies, but hey, I like my half moon cookies no matter who makes 'em).... More

We happened upon this hotel from a travel site for a last minute weekend in Newport. America's Cup Inn is located in the historic colonial section of the city. 2 blocks from Trinity Church and minutes from the water, restaurants and shops. America's Cup Inn is beautifully decorated and feels, historic, warm and inviting. The front desk staff are very... More

I chose this moderately-priced hotel based on online reviews and hoped for the best. Our introduction to the hotel wasn't particularly positive, as we almost missed the turn at Mary Street and couldn't immediately find a place to park. However, as soon as we stepped into the small Federal style lobby, we began to relax in the welcoming atmosphere. We... More

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The hotel and the room were just as we hoped - inviting and comfortable. The breakfast, included, was the most amazing we've seen, beautifully arranged, and I've never used this description before, but bountiful! We would stay here again very happily.

I stayed here for 2 nights over the Independence Day weekend. The hotel room was clean and the staff we friendly and unobtrusive. I went as a group of 4 and stayed in a 2 queen bed room and the only major issues we noted were that the A/C was not particularly cold and the outlet blew when 2 hairdryers... More

We've been to Newport many times, always trying new B&B's - I would definitely stay here again. On the corner of Brick Alley & Mary St, so you're right there with all restaurants, shopping and whatnot. Parking is $18 across the little side street (the inn is on a corner) - $24 if you play the lot attendant. Stayed in... More

This is a quaint Inn which is very beautifully decorated. It has been renovated recently. The wall papers in the different rooms are simply lovely. On entering the Inn, I felt very pleased to have chosen a stay here at a reasonable price compared to other B n B. We requested to be shown the two available twin bed rooms... More

Stayed here back In April. We chose this location because it is Pet Friendly. We had a room in one of the apartments available. The Room was spacious which was good with two pups. The Bathroom was big, though the shower was about the size of a shower on a cruise ship. The Jacuzzi bathtub made up for the small... More

We planned our trip late, and America's Cup Inn was one of the last hotels with rooms available. Lucky us! The location was perfect, the room was immaculately clean, the breakfast was a delight, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Granted, we were placed on the 4th floor and had to lug our bags up the stairs, but... More

This is a nice, older Inn with a great location....right in downtown! We loved the quaintness of it! We stayed off season as a weekend getaway. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very helpful!
