My husband and I booked this weekend getaway last minute and we were not at all disappointed!! It was our first time in Newport, and certainly not our last. :) The Inn is beautiful, VERY clean, quaint, quiet, and romantic. Daily breakfast is included (large spread of different items!), as well as tea time every day between 3pm-5pm, and maid... More

Initial impression is a good location and the room was acceptable but having unpacked we tried to charge a mobile phone only for all of the electricity to fuse and nobody was at reception. We waited and eventually somebody returned and when we explained the reply was "oh not again" and we were informed that if we wanted to use... More

Really nice little inn with amazing staff. It's not fancy and we knew that when we booked. The inn is in a great location for shopping and dining. The marina is a few blocks away, and the historic mansions are all within a 10 minute drive. We stayed in a queen suite on the 4th floor....very cozy for what we... More

Great b&b in the heart of town. It has a very historic feel. In fact, when we stayed just a few weekends ago, I had a paranormal experience in room 506 (or maybe it was 306?). The sound of the bathtub turning on in the middle of the night woke me from a deep sleep. Upon inspection by my fiance,... More

Perfect location, walking distance to the wharfs, bars, restaurants. It was noisy because it is right downtown. Our room was spotless, the hotel was deserted, yet they had a very nice breakfast buffet. We would stay there again.

A stunning hotel right on Thames Street. Everything about this hotel was 5 star - only draw back is no coffee until breakfast. Tea, hot water, microwave etc all available 24/7 but I couldn't find any coffee anywhere. The room was beautiful - king bed in a large room, squeaky clean and well appointed. An amazing breakfast - hot and... More

America's Cup Inn was a great place to stay. Warm and cozy, just steps from the waterfront and wharfs in downtown Newport, RI. The breakfast (included) had much more than expected, no need to find a breakfast spot or drive to another breakfast place. They had just about anything you would want for breakfast and plenty of seating in their... More

Stayed in room 102 and found it extremely noisy. The room overlooks the street and there were people from the corner pub hanging out. It sounded like they were in our room with us. Room was spacious. Although bathroom was tiny. High tea consisted of store bought bakery cookies. Dried fruit. Pretzels. Stayed at an inn up the street in... More

This is the first time we spend the night in downtown Newport. We traveled with another couple and were quite pleased with the location and the Inn. We were able to check in early, our rooms were ready. Our checkin was quick, friendly and professional. We parked our car across the street from the Inn, we received a discount due... More

We stayed in the basement apartment and it fit our needs well and the location was great. However, the last night I noticed a mouse in the room and I did not want to alarm the other guests, so I did not say anything until I checked out. Upon checking out, the person did not seem surprised and did not... More
