I had passed this place several times during trips to Newport. I gravitated towards it this time because it does have a great location. First off, it is outdated. The carpets are dirty, the furniture is old. Second, I was mislead about parking. I was told there was parking at a lot across the street. I asked how difficult it... more

I stayed here for a romantic weekend with my husband. We chose this hotel because of its location. The decor in the rooms is quite dated and is overdue for an update. It kind of reminds me of staying at my Grandmother's house. The walls, lamps, curtains and even the trash can were covered in an ivy pattern. There was... more

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the America's Cup Inn (ACI). The Inn is centrally located not even 1 block off of the center of Thames St and is literally in the middle of the strip of restaurants and shops. The rooms were impeccable, well decorated and cozy. Our room did not have a tv... more

My partner and I went away for a romantic weekend in Newport, RI and our stay at the America’s Cup was wonderful. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t have to think about it again until we were leaving- if that’s not a vacation I don’t know what is. ☺ The rooms are adorable, distinct and “Newporty”, the... more

I had a very lovely stay at that inn with my family. We stayed there before and decided to stick with it this time. Their antique colonial style is such a refreshment after all those chain hotels that all look the same. Our rooms were clean fresh. And the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome, everything was very... more

I think that the hotel went under some renovation recently. The lobby is new and modern, so i liked it even better. I have been a Americas cup inn customer for years and I am never dissapointed. Very friendly staff and perfect rooms. We would definitely return. more

Here are the facts about the Inn. Great location / The rooms were clean, comfortable but in desperate need of a face lift. Everything was old and out dated. / The place is very noisy. From cars going by outside to people talking in the next room. / They do not a have a front entrance, they have a side... more

Let me start by saying that this B&B is very clean and the staff is very nice. We had no complaints regarding either. Our main concerns were with what the B&B claims to offer and what it really does offer. Everyone must be aware that there is no gym access or pool access of any kind with the Marriott or... more

My wife and I visited two weeks ago. We've since recommended it to our friends. First and foremost, the location by the harbour can't be beat. The staff were very warm, and the atmosphere was great. A lot of people have commented on the noise. We are very light sleepers and didn't have a problem at all. more

My fiance reserved this room and I was concerned after reading some of these reviews! The reviews are completely inaccurate! We just came back from a great 4th of July weekend there. The Inn is right in the middle of everything, we didn't have to worry about getting around or bothering with directions, were able to walk in any direction... more
