I stayed here during Veterans Day as part of a free complimentary night for veterans and I added on an additional night. During my stay I had a great time and truly enjoyed the breakfast each morning before I set out to explore Newport and do some Christmas shopping. Newport is a wonderful shopping town with stores and boutiques throughout... More

We recently visited the Adele Turner in for a night away. I have no complaints what-so-ever and found the inn quite charming. Parking was tight but available. Everything is within walking distance of the inn as long as you are able (except mansions and cliff walk - would be a longer do-able walk). We were greeted by Antonio. Our reservation... More

We recently spent 4 days at the Adele Turner Inn. The location of the Inn was perfect - we could easily walk down to shops and restaurants. Breakfasts were great - always a choice of items and the servings were plentiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only thing we didn't like was that our room was on the third floor... More

Had a great stay here. Very convenient to walking areas in Newport. Very clean and friendly. Only thing the Inn lacks its s nice indoor sitting area. I think a parlor atmosphere is needed. Otherwise itit's a great place to stay and we will definitely be going back there in the future.

Definitely a great location for exploring Newport, but I agree with prior reviews that note a sense of decline and prices not commensurate with the quality of the inn itself. On the positive side, the manager, Katherine, was warm and friendly at our arrival and every time we saw her throughout our stay. We stayed in the Harborview Spa room... More

We've been coming to Newport for over 25 years and after our beloved Elm Tree Cottage closed a few years ago we have been in search of a replacement. I think we have found it in the Adele Turner Inn. First off, the location is great. You are close enough to the Thames St. excitement to walk everywhere but far... More

Returned after several years to stay for a few nights - sadly, with some mixed results. The house and location remain great. The breakfast is well presented, imaginative, and very enjoyable. The staff are making a substantial contribution towards the start of the day being a memorable experience. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the rooms. Our suite was... More

Antonio welcomed us and helped to get oriented to town with a map. The main downtown attractions are a couple blocks away. The mansions are further away but my wife and I walked the couple miles to see them. Newport is very walkable. Our room was clean and very nicely decorated. There was a fireplace which must be lovely in... More

My son and I just stayed for three summer nights in the 3rd floor Harborview Spa room, which features a spacious veranda with hot tub and spectacular views of Newport and the harbor. It was pricey even by Newport high season standards, but worth it (we thought) to relax and soak in the view at the end of each day.... More

Spent three nights at the Adele Turner Inn, which is walking distance to many restaurants, tourist sites and just walking! Well-appointed room, comfortable bed, updated bathroom. Some rooms larger than others. Ours was smaller but had two chairs and a fireplace! A cookie jar in the front hall with home-baked cookies all day, afternoon tea and treats, and a filling,... More
