It was a busy weekend in Newport - Volvo Race stopover, college graduations, etc., but the Inn was peaceful and service was first rate. It's my preference to stay by the waterfront, hence the 4 stars for location, but it's a great neighborhood overall, especially for access to Cliff Walk. Our room (Louise) was snug, which they told us about... More

We've been to Newport many times and the Victorian Ladies is our new go to hotel. We liked the location, breakfast and amenities, and loved our room. The location is right between the start of Cliff Walk and downtown. We were in such a great spot that we did Cliff Walk and some mansions without pulling the car out, a... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Victorian Ladies for a long weekend at the end of January and we didn't want to leave! Cindy was very sweet and accommodating to our allergies, even bringing in gluten free muffins from a local bakery for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay in the Pauline Room and would definitely come back!

Staying at a B&B is different from a hotel in many regards, but specifically because it has a more home-like feel to it. With that written, the staff is much more vital to the overall experience. A year ago my wife and I stayed here and really loved our experience. We received a warm welcome and the entire stay was... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, using the winter deal. We stayed in the Edward room and thought that it was great. The fireplace was a nice touch and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also varied and filling. This is a good place to stay when visiting Newport!

My boyfriend and I decided to get away for the weekend and picked Victorian Ladies Inn. This was such a perfect choice, from the accommodations (we were actually given a choice of rooms once we got there, since we were the only guests that weekend), to the most amazing breakfast, to Cindy the inn keeper. Cindy made our stay even... More

This B&B is gorgeous. The staff is friendly and as soon as we got in Cindy introduced herself, checked us in, showed us the house and our room in the Carriage house. She also took the time to show us a map of Newport, explain what places were and how to get there. She was a great help! Our room... More

From the moment we stepped in to the time we said goodbye, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B & B. We stayed in the Carriage House in the Leopold Room, a deluxe room with King sized bed, gas fireplace, small fridge, comfy robes, and small flat screen tv. Cindy was busy as a bee preparing for the... More

We spent three nights here for our honeymoon. The innkeeper was very accomodating and we stayed in the Pauline room. Very nice with a huge fireplace-very romantic. Breakfast was wonderful. couldn't eat everything we wanted to. Afternoon tea was really nice on a chilly December afternoon. Restaurant recommendations were perfect. Location was close to the Mansions, shopping and the cliff... More

We spent 1 evening here and was very pleased. Newport at Christmastime was a special memory for us. Our chosen room was in the separate building on the premises .The outdoor area consisted of a quaint path through gardens and around the Koi pond. The outside steps are rather steep to this entrance. We were treated to delicious homemade scones and beverages...
