I stayed at this B&B with my wife during our honeymoon. The room was nice and clean and a decent size. In the afternoon tea and biscuits were put out which was nice. The breakfast was very good and was nice to have a choice off the menu. The only drawback was it lacked the friendly atmosphere that we'd come... More

This was a wedding gift from someone in our wedding party - for our 1 year Anniversary. Despite some confusion regarding the reservation (our friend made the reservation a year in advance and didn't send us the confirmation, so not the fault of the Inn) everything was lovely! They don't do the gardens enough justice!! My husband is a plant... More

We stayed three nights and found our room to be specious, clean and, most importantly, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, particularly the Eggs Newport, with coffee plentiful and hot. Our hosts, Harry and Cindy were gracious and friendly, and gave us wonderful suggestions of places to go and restaurants to try. Their tips made our trip... More

We stayed for three nights in mid-May. The property was just as the photos online and was very comfortable with a great location just near Belleview Avenue. The delicious breakfast was very good, particularly the crab cakes but painfully slow service more than once was disappointing and not up to the standard the inn seemed to have set itself. Our... We were here for the chowder cook-off and stayed only 1 night at the B&B. we stayed in the Edward room. The room was clean and spacious. The bed very comfortable. The only "complaint" that we had was that the window air conditioning unit needed to be clean. Easy fix. The bathroom was spotless. The gardens are beautiful. A wonderful... More

The Victorian Ladies Inn staff was wonderfully friendly. Breakfast of porched eggs and crab cake was just excellent. We had it two days in a row. Tea time, cookies, and crumb cake made the afternoon. Location is quite good as well. The place is very quaint, but it is afterall an old place that is as well maintained as possible... More

I made a reservation for the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend through their website. I got a call several days later stating that they could not honor the reservation because there was a wedding hold on the place and the bride was freaking out. They did not offer to find me another room elsewhere. I ended up taking the last... More

It is my sincere wish to apologize for your inconvenience. I am the owner, and we made a mistake. A terrible overbooking. it was bad enough that you both had to be relocated. I will pay the entire bill at the property that, thankfully, had an opening. Please send me a copy of the invoice for your overnight stay. You may... More

This was a great bed and breakfast. My husband and I stayed in the Edward room. It was spacious, quaint and beautiful. The owner and her staff were very nice and professional. The inn was close to the cliff walk and a short walk from the shopping area. We would definitely stay again.

I took my mom on a trip to Newport and wanted to give her the full experience. Victorian Ladies Inn turned out to exceed my expectations on all fronts - I have to add they were already pretty high based on the reviews I read on here. Cindy - the Inn owner - was very welcoming and outgoing. She gave... More

This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and the experience was nothing short of remarkable. My fiancée and I chose to elope and get married in Newport, Rhode Island. When we looked to setting up the details of our wedding, we chose to get married at the Victorian Ladies Inn. Once the plan was set, all... More
