On the advice of my son and daughter-in-law, my husband I stayed here for 2 nights. I really can't say anything more than some of the other reviewers. The place was lovely, and in a great location. Staff were pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was similar to a continental but better and more variety, just enough to start the day. The... More

This is a charming B&B and located so well on a street in Newport with everything in walking distance. The room was clean, pretty and comfortable. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the afternoon homemade cookies. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions. We would definitely stay there again if in Newport!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Admiral Fitzroy Inn! This inn is in a great location, right on Thames Street close to nice restaurants and the waterfront. Our room on the second floor faced the back and was nice and quiet and spacious. The room and bathroom were clean and inviting. The staff at the front desk and in... More

My wife and I stayed at the Admiral Fitzroy for our first anniversary in June of 2014. From check in to check out, this place is top-notch! Just the right mix of "being home" and "right in the middle of downtown", pretty much every major attraction/restaurant/bar/experience is within walking distance! If we got tired, walk back and nap. If we... More

This bed and breakfast was perfectly located to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. The front desk staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. The room was big and had a refrigerator and coffee service. Breakfast was good, just enough to get the day started.

We were steered to this place by friends who have stayed there often, and it was AMAZING!! Loved the breakfast, loved the setting (right downtown), loved the staff (so friendly and helpful) and our room was delightful. This is a gem that we'll return to often, and they even have Free Parking!! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.

My husband and I stayed in one of the rooms with the semi-private deck and we loved it. The room and bathroom were clean, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options from which to choose. We felt very much at home during our stay. The inn is located in a great spot... More

We met friends for a long weekend in Newport and stayed at the Admiral Fitzroy Inn for the first time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location can’t be beat and the room (#7) bathroom and downstairs breakfast room were immaculately clean. I consider myself to be very picky and this place was lovely. Will definitely stay here... My husband and I spent another trip to Newport here in this quaint and charming inn that is located right in the heart of Newport. The staff is always welcoming and informative. We stayed in Room 19 which is lovely and has a semi-private deck that we especially enjoy with a view of the harbor and Newport Bridge. There is... More

What a delight this charming B&B is in the heart of Newport and Thames Street. Thank you for your location, your convenient parking lot- and your elevator for weary late afternoon middle aged travelers! Angela was warm and welcoming without being intrusive. The location can't be beat and the breakfast was fresh and more adorable than plentiful but just enough!... More
