The Mill Street Inn is that perfect balance between old and new...exposed brick walls, beams and modern neutral decor. Very fresh & open while still maintaining character. The room had an awesome fireplace, deck and view of Newport & the water. Love the rain shower! The staff was very friendly & the Inn is within a 5 min walk to... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and we were incredibly happy with everything. The staff was more than pleasant and very accommodating. They were eager to help and even set up a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival because I told them it was my wife's birthday. The rooms were very clean, smelled nice and had... More

We stayed for two nights in a large room suitable for 4. There were two separate spaces, with a bed in one and a sofa bed in the other, which made for a very comfortable arrangement. The rooms are very modern in design, with quality fixtures and a very comfy bed. Bathroom was small, but well designed. Staff were perfectly... More

I am local customer 20 miles away from the hotel. My wife and I go to Newport regularly for overnight visits. We frequent the inn and even have received multiple gift certificates from family because they know my wife and I speak so highly about it. I called a few days ago to book two rooms for one night for... More

Dear Guest, We are sorry but we do have a two night minimum in peak season as do the majority of hotels in Newport. The season here starts in May and runs through October. We would have called to discuss your request but you instructed the desk agent not to have management call. More

Room was nice but a little musty. Bathrooms seem recently renovated and are excellent and modern. Highest quality towels and bed linens. Property starting to show signs of age but still comfortably modern aesthetic if you don't like classic & traditional decor employed by chain hotels. Or cloyingly olde world decor of b&bs. We had a large balcony with a... More

Upon arrival we were greeted by Siren, quickly given our room and on our way. *Until we arrived at the room to find out this was not the room we paid for. We paid for the Best room they had and were given a room that was not the best. We went up and Siren was professional but the bottom... More

We had a wonderfull experience, the room was excellent and the staff were some of the most helpfull we have met and had to deal with at the front desk. My husband and I stayed one night at the Mill Street Inn on April 2nd in celebration of our 4th wedding anniversary. We had no issues with check in and the front desk manager Siren was pleasant. Our room was 107, clean and nice however musty odor was obvious upon arrival. During the day, it appeared a bit noisy (expected).... More

We stayed for a romantic weekend and absolutely loved this hotel! The room (a small suite) was clean and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was super helpful (love Adam in the breakfast room!). We loved the complimentary breakfast - lots of fresh yummy choices. We also loved the afternoon tea with the... More
