Our first Visit to Newport! Such a Neat town and a very nice Inn! Friendly staff, very clean! Unique rooms. And best of all quiet. It was our 25th anniversary trip. The only suggestion I will make and this goes for anywhere people stay is to serve really good coffee. We find most places do not. That would be a... More

Initially put off when the hotel quoted a price over the phone and I called back 10 minutes later to book it only to be told it was a mistake and they wouldn't honor it, I spoke (rather, argued) with the manager who finally acquiesced and honored the rate that was first provided. Once over that speed bump, the hotel... More

Very big welcome and outstanding service by day manager to make bookings and organise tours for us and night manager equally welcoming. Bellhop was pleasant and could not do enough for us.  Room was large and comfortable with a nicely appointed small sitting room, windows small and high but light enough. Small bathroom lovely bathrobes and an espresso machine. Breakfast... More

We originally chose this hotel because we could include our small dog on our overnight ocean getaway. It was a great location and a decent price. After the staff offered us dog bowls for our room and warm cookies we were hooked. Sunset on the rooftop deck was beautiful and the room was the perfect mix of antique charm and... More

First time staying at the Inn so didn't know what to expect. Room was everything as advertized and then some; two TV's, good sized fridge for wine or milk and plenty of space to sprawl out in. Roof deck was also a strong selling point and our unit had its own private little roof deck overlooking the harbor - REALLY... More

I enjoyed my stay at The Mill Street Inn and will return again. My suite room was good size and had lots of nice perks like a fridge, two TV's, free parking and internet and was in a great location. The neighborhood is a quaint colonial neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the downtown area of Newport. The staff... More

My wife & I stayed at the Mill St Inn this past May as we attended our son's wedding in Newport. We have stayed previously having enjoyed the Townhouse suites with the harbor view & for this last visit a Deluxe suite. The suite was clean, spacious, well appointed & the bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast is also very... More

What a wonderful find tucked away from the noise but close to everything you want to do. We stayed at the Mill St. Inn for 4 nights; we had a townhouse suite with a nice view of the harbor. The room was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, even calling to let us... More

My wife and I just got back from our most recent stay at the Mill Street Inn and it was, as always, a great stay. We have been staying there for over 20 years and have never had a problem. we always find the room clean, the breakfast good and the staff very helpful, especially Siren. She always goes out... More

We stayed one night at The Mill Street Inn. It is located in a good spot on a quiet street just steps from shopping and dining. The Inn is a bit tired. Our room had a bit of a musty smell that was coming from the damp carpet on the steps up to the room. The wall mounted air conditioner,... More
