We stayed one night at The Mill Street Inn. It is located in a good spot on a quiet street just steps from shopping and dining. The Inn is a bit tired. Our room had a bit of a musty smell that was coming from the damp carpet on the steps up to the room. The wall mounted air conditioner,... More

A former industrial building which was very smartly and chicly re-purposed in a modern zen style. We had a lovely 2-room suite. The complementary continental breakfast was excellent and ample and on a nice day served on the roof-top which had incredible views. The location was excellent yet quiet. Staff were very helfpul and cooperative - a special thanks to... More

There was some confusion when we checked-in, but it was straightened out it a timely manner. And Amanda who worked at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The room atmosphere was so so but the location was ideal. Complimentary breakfast each morning on the roof top deck, which had stunning views. In addition to Amanda, the staff was... More

Quanit, lovely small boutique Inn close to the ocean, with wonderful ammetities. The room was spacious and quiet and the breakfast was absolutely top notch, everything you could imagine and then some, locks and bagels, fresh fruit, fresh oatmeal, the works, served in the breakfast nook. There are many local restaurant that served fresh seafood that was worth the trip alone.... More

Thank you so much for the great review. We're glad you enjoyed the breakfast - we've worked hard to get a bit of everything on it. We also love to hear about what else you enjoyed in town. That kind of advice is always helpful to pass on to our other guests. We hope to see you again next time... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel in late August in a Townhouse Suite. It was the first time we had stayed here at the Mill Street Inn and our what felt like hundredth time to Newport! The room accommodations remind me of a luxurious NY styled loft and the greatly designed common areas like the lounge and lobby... More

Room was wonderful - nice sitting area, comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Rooftop breakfast overlooking the town and ocean was a highlight. Good location right in beautiful Newport. Personalized note by the bed with a little bag of jellybeans was a nice touch. Pet friendly as well!

We stayed here for one night, several years after our first stay. We got a 1 bedroom suite that was very large and comfortable. There is tranquil, modern decor and chocolate by the bed at night (yum). We also had a private deck, unfortunately it was January. It is about a 5 minute walk downtown, which is great. The only... We have stayed at this wonderful hotel for only one day while we were in the city but definitely will stay there again next time. Loved the decor and especially the rooftop breakfast the serve. Its family friendly and romantic at the same time. The hotel is very clean. The staff was accommodating and genuinely friendly. They do provide a... More

Arriving at this small hotel you are greeted by a building that holds all the charm of it's previous life as a mill. Upon entering you are fast forwarded to an eclectic, modern atmosphere. Staff was welcoming and helpful, offering a parking space for the day and some helpful hints on sights. Later on at check in, a bell hop... More
