Hotel was just renovated. Beautiful lobby, Rooms and Beds comparable to 4 star hotels. "Continental Breakfast" far exceeds the minimum standards most Comfort Inns provide. Nice exercise room, incredibly convenient to downtown Buffalo. Front desk service is very responsive and attentive. Loved my stay in this newly renovated hotel in downtown Buffalo. Very efficient staff, delicious breakfast, all day coffee and tea, free Internet, and conveniently laid out rooms. I felt very safe with the card only access to rooms and appreciated the free daily newspaper. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends. more

We stayed at this hotel not by choice (we were bumped from The Adams Mark due to overbooking) but it was a pleasant enough experience. Stayed at this hotel back in 2007...rooms were quite dated....fast forward to Aug 2009...I didn't recognize the rooms. Completely renovated, cozy, welcoming and quite comfortable. Other than the TV's, of which the front desk staff mentioned that they were also being replaced, there is absolutely no reason not to stay here ! I can only imagine when they have finished... more

While the staff did everything to try to make things right- and good customer service is hard to come by- it just can't overcome the issues. While the hotel is undergoing renovations, the rooms are still old and tired. The bathroom had some " cleanliness issues", which were troubling but quickly corrected.
