The Hyatt in Downtown Buffalo is okay. Overall the rooms are clean and they were all recently renovated. They have nice beds and TVs and are quite comfortable. The staff is friendly and the food in the restaurant/bar is decent. I think that there are probably nicer hotels you could stay in, but for the price the Hyatt is good.... more

This is an absolutely great hotel...service is great, and the rooms are great. However, two things go against this hotel. 1) It is in Downtown Buffalo and the immediate area is not too nice...lots of closed stores and scary people on the street. 2) the room rates are way too high for this area. A couple of notes: Yes, downtown Buffalo is sketchy. Yes, the outside of the hotel has seen better days. But inside, the hotel is gorgeous, clean, and well-appointed.
