I stayed at the Hotel @ The Lafayette on a Friday night for a wedding. I had reserved a two-room suite and was pleasantly surprised. Each room had its own bathroom and closet, and the suite had a full kitchen including a dishwasher, small cooking island and standard refrigerator, as well as a great living room space and kitchen table.... Work in Buffalo and stayed overnight at this hotel. Have had meals here many times. This could be the nicest room I've ever had anywhere. Like a small apartment and its not even one of the apartment rooms. So nicely decorated. Two sides fireplace. Two flat screen televisions. Fabulous bed on a raised platform. Shower and tub. Funky glass wall... More

We stayed here over a weekend for a family wedding. From the moment you walk into the hotel you can see all the restoration work that has gone into this hotel. We had a suite room which worked out really well. Our room was large enough that we could comfortably have multiple family members in our room. This room would... More

The restoration of this beautiful old hotel is incredible. Rooms are gorgeous. The details in the decorating, the extra fluffy pillow top beds, the charming view of a courtyard, the downtown central location all add up to an awsome experience. Top it all off with great customer service. I would highly recommend The Lafayette to anyone!

We had a junior suite, which included a sitting room and a couple of steps up to the bedroom and bathroom. An electric fire place separated the two spaces with fireplace visibility from both sides. Flat screen TV's were above the fireplace in both rooms. The newly renovated rooms were chicly modern, elegant and understated, cozy and comfortable. The bed... More

We stayed in February for a friends wedding. It was the host hotel, but the wedding was offsite. I could not believe that such a place exists in Buffalo. Tons of 1920s era glam. The bars are excellent. Nice unique rooms, HUGE (15ft) hallways for the corridors, 20ft ceilings. Incredible building, great hotel. If we ever came back to Buffalo... More

I stayed at this hotel for work and it was conveniently located in the center of downtown Buffalo. The walkability factor of this place is great in relation to restaurant, businesses, etc... The hotel lobby is pretty and the front desk people were friendly, but not overly so. They were doing their job and handed me a key and sent... More

I absolutely fell in love with this hotel with our first viewing of venues for my daughter's wedding. Her wedding was held in the Grand Ballroom and it was flawless! The food was the BEST wedding food anyone had ever had at a wedding. The Grand Ballroom was spectacular. We had rooms the night before the wedding and the night... More

I had an opportunity to stay here a few weeks back and was very much pleasantly surprised. I travel more than 200,000 air miles per year so I get around and I tend to stay at boutique hotels vs. the chain store brands and my expectations are very high. The hotel was built in the early 1900’s and they have... More

The hotel has been meticulously restored to an elegant masterpiece. We were overjoyed with our room (junior. Suite) and I am very particular about hotels. It was so comfortable, clean, great bed and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved it!
