We had a wonderful three days at the Parkside House. Quiet, charming and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Chris is a great host and insured that everything exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was so much more than expected. Bonnie was more than capable of filling Chris's shoes when he had to be away from the property.

Christopher Lavey, owner/proprietor, provides a beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inn with the charm and character of an upscale boutique hotelier. One of the many differences is in the warmth and beauty of the hand-selected Frank Lloyd Wright Martin House inspired décor and his sweet and loving greeter Drucilla.the dog. We had the great fortune of spending 5 days with Chris... More

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Parkside house in Buffalo. The street was quiet and Parkside had everything. A beautiful porch with swing and shade, Gorgeous Victorian living room including a baby grand piano. All areas of the house were immaculate. Chris is the perfect Host, inquisitive and informative without being intrusive. Breakfast always a visual... More

I had reason to be in Buffalo briefly, speaking at a conference. I booked into Parkside House and wished I could have stayed longer. My room was at the front of the house, very generous and comfortable. I was greeted warmly by staff, and the breakfast the next morning was super. The house is lovely, but its location only 3... With the focus of our Buffalo stay being the Darwin Martin Complex, Parkside House Bed and Breakfast was the obvious choice for a place to stay, located only three blocks away from the DMC. Hosts Chris and Jose’ were very friendly, gracious and pleasant with their cadre of perky pups made for an excellent stay in Buffalo. There is no... More

I couldn't think of a better place to spend Mother's Day weekend with my son and daughter-in-law than this grand home with it's beautiful spring trees coming into bloom and a great porch to enjoy them on. The rooms were all spotless, well appointed and comfortable with various Prairie Style touches. It is located in a convenient neighborhood accessible to... More

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Parkside House very much. We recommend the Jewett Room for its bathroom. The walk-in shower and heated floor were wonderful bonuses to this space. Chris, our host, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for sites to see and places to eat during our visit, and the breakfasts were good as... More

The breakfasts each morning were healthy, flavorful, and varied from stuffed French Toast to Baked Eggs. The front porch was a perfect way to end our day. Restaurants are close by on Hertel as well as Amherst Metro station. The Summit Room's bed was very comfortable. And being close to Wright's Martin House does not hurt either. Chris was a... More
