A superb, charming hotel with impeccable service! Worth a trip to Buffalo to stay and enjoy the up and coming city! They will drive you to restaurant, lovely breakfast included and the Mansion beautifully restored.

Stayed at the mansion hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is attractive, especially the outside and the common rooms. However, routine maintenance seems to be lacking and it greatly dated the look and feel of the hotel. Small things like paint chipping from the walls, grime around the bathtub, and general dust accumulation shouldn't appear in... More

I was a guest at a wonderfully elegant wedding reception at MODA and stayed overnight. The staff, butlers and room attendants were all attentive, professional and seem to really enjoy being able to assist guests with their every need. They were graciously able to accommodate my request for an early check in when I arrived early from out of state.... More

We arrived in late afternoon, the valet took care of our car and we were greeted by one of the butlers whom escorted us to the check in desk. The suite was on the fourth floor, 401, nice big living room with period fireplace, decent size bedroom and bathroom. A very odd item we found on the desk in the... More

...the MODA is probably still the best game in town BUT it's starting to show its age and will soon need a face lift. I wish the owners would embrace the historical nature of the property and use period decor rather than trying to make the rooms look 1990s contemporary - that look is tired. They also need to upgrade... More

All you really need to know about this property is that it has on-demand car service. No worrying about parking, having a couple of drinks or arguing with your spouse over directions, they take care of all of it. And if that isn’t enough, they have a great breakfast each morning and drinks in the afternoon. The Mansion made our... More

My wife and I stayed one night (August 14th) in this perfectly wonderful hotel . A charming, skillfully restored and decorated nineteenth century Delaware Avenue mansion...perfectly clean, comfortable and well appointed bedroom and large bathroom.Ask for a "double-double" facing Delaware Avenue. The continental breakfast is lavish!...and delicious. The hotel staff is friendly, efficient and well informed about the sights and... More

We have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints. The staff is attentive, the rooms are nicely appointed, and the location is great. Would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a romantic boutique hotel.

The trip was not to be a fun-filled one, no, it was for the New York Bar Exams which is held twice a year at 3 venues in the state of New York. Buffalo is or at least feels like the furthest and (in my opinion) the least hospitable of the venues, but here we are. So, I was really... More

I am writing this on our second and final night stay before moving on with our trip, just wish we were staying longer. This hotel has the best staff I have ever encountered, they are courteous, informative and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are very good with free wi-fi and a complimentary breakfast. I would recommend that anyone... More
