I stayed here the night after my flight into Buffalo before heading into Canada. The hostel has free WiFi a good common room and kitchen and is in a good location. Staff are very friendly. Food is available further into town. This place is ideal as a one-niter after a long flight.

We stayed at the Hostel Buffalo-Niagara for 3 nights. Rooms were spic n span with AC, new linens and sheets were provided. The common kitchen has all possible facilities - Microwave, gas stove, utensils, refrigerator, etc. They even have a common lounge for hanging out with friends. Overall a pleasant and affordable stay in downtown Buffalo.

I have stayed at Hostel Buffalo-Niagara a number of times. It has always been a great place to stay and you cannot beat $25 a night for the downtown location at any hotel. On my last trip to Buffalo with a friend, we had the room entirely to ourselves. This is a very quiet hostel and I do not see... More

Don't stay here. Rooms were not cleaned from previous visitors and there was vomit under the sheets in my bed. There isn't anything exciting to do in Buffalo but it's a good stop over point when travelling from New York to Niagara Falls. I would avoid the stop if you could.

Spent only one night here. Since Buffalo is a really small town, I killed most of my time at the hostel and this is the best part. The crews were awesome and people staying here are cool! They have pool table in the basement and laundry as well!

I went there and I have to say, that Buffalo is absolutely no place to stay. But the hostel is absolutely fine and cheap. Washrooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying there, if one has to go to Buffalo.

We rented a private room with shared bath for one night in this hostel. We decided to stay at this hostel the day before our arrival and checked the availability by mail. The reply on our request was very fast. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The hostel and room were very clean. Unfortunately Buffalo isn't an interesting place,... More

Me and my fiancé stayed here while she was taking the BAR, it's an extremely friendly Hostel, very good price and right in the heart of Buffalo. The only drawbacks are that you share the restrooms and the rooms also (unless you book a full room which we did). The staff is extremely friendly and will help with directions and... More

I stayed at Hostel Buffalo the night of the 'superstorm' on October 29, 2012 after a four hour bus ride from Toronto. The staff was great and I was thrilled to be inside and to get a private room. This place is so solid (I have no idea what it used to be) I slept great and didn't hear anything... More

The AC was so very loud when it kicks in. Didn't get to sleep until 3am. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about considering the money I paid. Wireless internet worked, room was nice and clean. Big kitchen with lots of shelves, 2 gas stoves. Enough seats in the lounge area. 3 showers and 3 stalls per gender in total... More
