the rooms are crowded with furniture, but clean and filled with amenities you would not necessarily expect!! also pretty convenient to 'downtown' Medora, but if you're going to Medora musical, take the car -- too dark to consider the hike down hill at night!! wifi available in the MAIN bunkhouse which also has 24/7 coffee / tea service == very... The beds we got were very short (one of my crew had his feet sticking over the end of his bed at least 12-14". The place isn't easy to find after dark-not much signage, but the room was clean! I think that all these are is "trailers" that are moved in by truck-sorth've like a Man Camp in the oil... More

The rooms are quite small and there are no King size beds, but it is very clean and well appointed. The staff was very nice and very helpful. There is an outdoor pool we didn't use it but it looked nice and clean also. The mattress are very firm and I got us stiff in the morning, there are only showers... More

Stayed in Medora for one night. Our room here was small but clean, good enough for just the two of us. Nothing fancy, but it will get you through a night or two. Slept well, no issues during our stay.

By the time we planned our trip, the Theodore Roosevelt hotel was already booked and this was the only hotel that was still available. I do like higher end hotels, but I was prepared for the worst after talking to the reservation agent...I knew it was going to be rustic and outdated. It was...and it reminded me of staying in... I have been coming to Medora for years. I know the bunk house is just that, a bunk house. Bare bones, nothing fancy but it is way past time to do some work on these units. Clean, yes, they were clean, but cleaning does not take away that odor. We walked in, it had an odor, the bathroom odor was... More

This is the most economical place in town - but it is a tourist town and all prices are inflated. The buildings are like barracks, and the rooms are basic. There is an older model TV, but no refrigerator or microwave, The room and bathroom were clean. There is a nice swimming pool on the property. If you don't expect... More

This room was expensive ($100) for what we got; however, it is within blocks of the Theodore Roosevelt Park/Badlands. That is probably why it is costly. The was a bed, chair, dresser with an old tv. There was no clock in the room. The air conditioner kept the room at a good temperature all night and wasn't overly noisy. The... More

These former man camp trailers seem to be exactly as they were in the 80's. The bedspreads are old. Our drapes weren't even black out they old lace curtains, so the sun was shining in at 5am. The remote control for the TV did not work. The air conditioner rattled so loudly you couldn't sleep with it on. The walls... More

I really don't have anything positive to say about this place. Its old, run down, shabby, smelly and uncomfortable. Really no amenities, my room did not have fridge, microwave or even a clock. For $100 I expect much more than what was delivered. We ended up staying here because everything else was sold out, this is all the was left,... More
