We have camped at Medora Campground many times over the last 11 years. It is situated along the Little Missouri River, very close to the town of Medora and to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Medora Campground is a typical camp area that could have been used by range riders in the 1890s. Of course, it now has modern hoodups for... More

We were hesitant of booking and even more anxious as we approached the park, but all was well after we settled to our site. The check-in process was unnecessarily long as local "attractions" are pitched in the process. The sites are unpaved but quite roomy. As a side note we purchased the Medora Musical tickets (as these were highly recommended... More

This is our second trip to Medora and second time for staying at the Medora Campground. Over-all this is a nice campground. On the rustic side, but, appropriate for this part of the world. We asked for a site near restrooms, and were accommodated with no problem. Everything we needed was there for us and working. The little camp store... More

Throughout the reservation process prior to traveling we had issues with errors in number of nights and sites and wrong confirmation numbers. Upon arrival, the middle aged woman who helped my husband check in was rude, and continued to be when questions were asked to clarify site boundaries, etc. During the checkout discussion, when trying to straighten out that two... I saw some reviews of this place and was apprehensive. But we were coming for just one night. But when I got there, I wish it had been more. LOCATION - Amazing - surrounded by beautiful bluffs along the Little Missouri river. A half-mile from town.and the entrance to Roosevelt National Park. City pool is located right on campground in... Large campground for tent, rv and a few cabins. We reserved a tent area $20 which was a nice size. The meaning of the title: their little store of supplies - you better be prepared to pay at least twice as much for products !!! ie... $2.50 for 7lb bag of ice ! They do have laundry on site :),... The place is pretty clean, rustic and our site roomy enough. We had an open field behind us which was nice! I would definitely suggest paying for the larger sites, the smaller ones looked pretty tight. Didn't use the public facilities or wifi which I didn't realize they had until we were leaving. Mature trees and gravel sites and roads.

This is a campground... not a resort. Yes the roads are gavel and gravel makes dust. In my experience this is not uncommon. No there is no cable TV and I don't have a satellite so the trees to me are not an issue. Not having TV does not bother me... if it bothers you then make note. I appreciate... More

From the time we stepped into the office to check in there were campers upset with how this campground takes reservations. Even though there were empty sites they would not work with anyone in accomadating groups. Also they pack you in so don't expect space between campers. Our kids took the dog for a walk and of course the dog... More

We are on a 6-week trip from PA to Yellowstone and back and traveling with another couple, each in our own motorhomes. Theodore National Park was on our list of 'must sees, and this is one of only 2 campgrounds near the park so we made reservations to stay 2 nights. There is no cable service, no local TV channels...
