Rained the day we arrived (Mother Nature, what can you do). Given the dry nature of the area, it apparently isn't designed to handle rain. The sites are one on top of the other (we have a side pushout on our camper and were virtually in the next site). Location to get to the musical is great, but otherwise would... More

We camped 3 nights at the Medora Campground over the 4th of July weekend. The campground was very busy and crowded. The camp sites were very small. We had a pretty full schedule seeing the sights outside the campground so we didn't spend a lot of time there which was probably for the better. We have a 25' travel trailer,... More

We stayed in the rustic cabin; opting to avoid the 2nd night in a hotel (prices in Medora are very expensive for hotels). We got the rustic cabin knowing that we would only be sleeping after seeing the musical. We were more than surprised by the fantastic rustic cabin. Firstly; we were delighted it had electrical; including A/C and ceiling... More

Campground was clean. Showers and bathrooms were clean and did not stink at all. Campground is also kept up nicely and staff was very helpful. Camp spots were tight. Actually too tight to get our awning out. However, the campground seems to stay very full so if there weren't so many spaces it would be hard to get reservations which... More

The RV spots were very close together, but level. There was a playground for young kids. Some of the reviews said there was a pool next door, but it was not filled when we were there (end of July). Wifi was very spotty.

We rented the Dakota and grand cabins for 2 nights. Very unfriendly in the office...air conditioner in one of cabins in bedroom didn't work and when we went to report it the guy was not concerned and said the repair guy was not in to fix it.we asked if they had a fan and guy said no we would have... We got in at about 730pm and pulled up to the office where we were greeted by a really nice young man who got us our camping spot close to the river. ( Please note that no camping spots are ON the river, there is a berm you have to go over and a little field you walk across). We... More

We camped here as a couple for one night in North Dakota. Well priced at $20 per night. Clean restrooms and showers. The map shows the little Missouri river near the campsite, however it is dried up. Very close to Theodore Roosevelt NP and downtown Medora. While we stayed , the quiet hours were not followed and people were still... More

We stayed at the Medora Campground a few weekends ago. Compared to hotel costs in the area the tent price ($20) can't be beat. It was early in the season so the nearest tents were 3-4 sites away from us which was very nice. Most people were very courteous, I'll get to the exception a little later. Check in was... More

We stayed at the Medora Campground for 2014 memorial day weekend. The camping trip was spur of the moment but even on that Saturday morning they had plenty of spots left. To put up a tent was only $20 a night which we all thought was very reasonable. There were only two fire pits near us, and since you cant... More
