This is an older rv park but its location is prime. Level sites, decent WiFi. Owners were nice but worn out from the summer crowd. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped in a motor home and were towing a car. Took a back in site. We did not use the showers or rest rooms so cannot... More

this is an older, family run campground, and like things that are old it is a little tattered on the edges but very friendly and comfy. An extended family operates this campground, it is like camping with the Waltons. Their kids run about and play as though it is their front yard, it is; the wife runs the office and... More

We stopped for one night on our way back from Yellowstone Park. Wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. Campground was old and pretty run down. Sites were not mowed and not very clean. Staff was pretty friendly. Was fine for an overnight, but not as a destination campground.

We had a great long weekend at the Red Trail Campground in August. There are a lot of spots and we had plenty of room at our campsite with sewer, electrical & water. For $35 a night we stayed and had cable TV for $2 a night. We also borrowed a coaxial cable with a deposit of $10 that we... More

On a whim, we decided to visit Medora on our way across North Dakota. Stopped on a very busy weekend, but they had a site and we were thankful. This is a basic, safe campground and the grounds, showers and restrooms are clean. Registration took a little long but they were busy, so that wasn't a big deal. I would... More

this place is of poor quality we have been traveling for 15 year and have never seen people be so rude. the management staff was filthy dirty. I will never stay there again. most of the rv site were in poor repair. our site was next to an old mobile home we were within 2 feet of the old shack... More

Older park with level gravel sites with grass between. Many are shaded by cottonwood trees. Sites are pretty close together. Well-equipped small store. Had a full hook-up site with cable ($2 extra). Everything worked well. Pleasant check-in, escort to site who also directed the back-in and puts you exactly in the site so the slides have room and utilities reach.... More

I would rate this campground average or a little lower. Units are crammed in TIGHT! Just average gravel and grass sites. Restroom was okay but there were a lot of tenters there the night we stayed. WARNING: close to the RR tracks. Although trains don't blow their whistle they make plenty of noise to wake you up. Staff seemed overwhelmed... More

Stopped in on our way to Fargo. Lots if room to walk dogs. Close to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Very convenient location. Staff is nice. What can I say - it's an RV park in the middle of nowhere it's not a fancy resort. I travel to see the sights not stay at my camper. Here you're close to to... More

OK, we are full-timers and needed an important repair on our RV. As we drove through Dickinson, we stopped at two RV repair places. The first didn't know how to do it. The second was booked solid but would call us the following week if they had a cancellation. Dejected, we continued 35 miles west to Medora and our reservation... More
