We stayed here in off-season (mid-October) after visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This hotel has a Teddy Roosevelt theme. It's a rustic-looking hotel with new rooms, lobby and dining room. It's unique in decor: rooms with lovely faux-tooled leather headboards, "velvet" upholstered chairs, wonderful plumbing & lighting fixtures as well as interesting decorative pictures and wall colors. The rustic-tiled shower... More

We spent 3 nights at this establishment the first week in October. We weren't able to get earlier reservations, but the up side was that rates were lower. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. The shower was fine ( no bathtub) and the sink/commode area had plenty of room. THere also was plenty of drawer space, a... More

Made reservations well in advance with selection based mainly on restaurant, wine list and history. Looked forward to one evening in nice setting. Drove out of way to spend one night. When arrived and after checking in the restaurant was closed for private event including the lounge and no room service. The desk clerk was not apologetic or even concerned.... More

We spent one night here recently on our trip to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was a very nice hotel - in fact, one of the nicest in which we have stayed. I am not a lover of showers, but it was a very nice one. We stayed in the historic wing - the rooms are upstairs, and if... More

We stayed here one night and were pleased with the stay. We had a room in the historic wing and it was a nice quaint setting. The room was not large but was nice. The biggest thing was an enormous shower that was very nice. The staff seems to be on point but not overly energetic. It was very off... More

What a beautiful place! The town is surrounded by Theodore Roosevelt National Park! The rooms were clean! Always important. Every employee we spoke to was pleasant and helpful and gave us their undivided attention! We arrived in town late in the day with reservations that didn't work out. This place was recommended by a waitress and we were so grateful.

Well decorated, spacious lobby with comfortable furniture, huge fireplace, and floor-to -ceiling bookshelves. Our room in the newer section was nicely furnished with subdued Western-style décor: king bed w/ 2 reading chairs. Huge walk-in shower. Our only negative: the towels were rather rough. Windows looked out onto the bluffs, which might not be visible when trees are fully leafed out.... More

This is a delightful early 1900's hotel with lots of history. It has been artfully renovated and additional wing added. The lobby is understated but correct for the period. We stayed in the historic wing and our room was mighty fine. The bath was upscale and spacious. As a treat, on our bed was a Teddy Bear with glasses and... More

We were in Medora for a wedding and stayed one night in a two-queen room. Beautiful and very comfortable room and beds. High-qual linens. All the amenities we all seem to expect. I loved the TR brand tiles in the shower & the shower itself. Gorgeous! Love the lobby and library. The dining room was excellent. Very nice waiters for... More

We stayed at this hotel one night after visiting the national park. It was an excellent experience. We stayed in the older section of the hotel in a room which has been well remodeled and furnished. The common areas on the first floor include a fairly large library on Roosevelt and the area. Making reservations is not difficult, though as others... More
