You are right in the heart of things in Medora and can walk to all the restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. Bed very comfortable. The bath was a bit outdated and the fan very noisy. Very convenient to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, South Unit.

We spent two nights at the Badlands Motel. One of the great surprises was that the Medora Hot Air Balloon rally lift-off was right outside our door! Restaurants within walking distance. A small refrigerator would be nice, but it's an old-fashioned style motel, so one really wasn't expected. Nice to drive right up to your door - just like the... More

We have stayed here before 2 years ago. I think they upgraded their rooms. Very clean, spacious. Only shower - no bathtub. Great location. Walking distance to horse stables, shops and eating in Medora. 2 minute drive to Pitchfork Fondue and Medora Musical. We will stay here again! Location, location, location!!!!

Medora ND is a tourist trap so what can you expect. Checkin staff most pleasant. Room clean and quiet. No hair dryer (found out later you have to go to the office) No microwave or fridge. Did I mention it is expensive compared to most any other town!

This is an old-style drive up motel where you park outside your room. We stayed in the new section (rooms in the 400's). The rooms are clean, good size, but rather spartan. We had two double beds, woodgrain vinyl floors, and a desk in the room. The bathroom had a vanity and shower (no bath). Amenities include TV, single-cup coffeemaker,... More

Wow, just spent the weekend in Medora and stayed at the Badlands Hotel as we have for years . What a great remodel, not just new paint and bedding. The bathes were gutted and replaced with a very nice large shower and great new vanity and flooring. The room was large and tasteful with comfy beds and nice white bedding.... More

urchased a golf and stay package and when we picked up the vouchers, were told that check in wouldn't be unitl 4;00 which seemed a little late but since we were golfing was OK. Got back to the motel at 4:30, waited in line while others checked in. Finally got to the counter and told, our room wasn't ready yet... More

The Badlands Motel is handy to everything in Medora. The room was reasonably large and the bed comfortable. Overall everything seemed clean. Prices were a bit higher than normal like everything else in Medora. The room would have been a whole lot nicer if a refrigerator were provided. WiFi was available but motel slow during peak hours. Ice is available... More

My husband and I were passing by Medora on our way back to Manitoba from Moosejaw Sask where we met with friends. We decided to stop in and see if a Motel was available. We picked the Badlands Motel because of the central location. We were able to get a unit and were very happy with it. We wandered around... More

Our room was clean and a good size, but no refrigerator or hair dryer, which seem to be standard in most motels and hotels these days. Everything else in Medora was within walking distance and it just minutes from the National Park entrance and the Medora Musical. We got the room as part of the package with the show and... More
